Nah, paying for shipping is bullshit for warranty work.
I took my rifle (cased) to work one day so I could hit the range on the way home. It sat in my truck in that case all throughout the workday and it unexpectedly hit about 101 or 102 (not common in late March) and when I got the range I...
Why on earth would they finally bump up the objective to 50mm and put a different knob?
I've been considering a 4-16 with the Mil-C for a while and now I'm torn....small obj, better turret or 50mm and non-locking?
I think we've hit a sound suppression ceiling.
Someone could make an ungodly huge can with an attachment to pre-purge the air but it would not be practical in use.
The one I sent to KSE was a k312i. I wanted a more compact, generous FOV scope for a semiauto application.
It only tracked to 7 mils or so and according to KSE that was pretty typical of other Kahles scopes he had tested (I had seen a k624i do the same thing early in the thread) and did some...
I'm just guessing based off of what was posted in previous threads on changing to the LRR reticle when it becomes available. I haven't emailed Jerry yet.
After the Kahles I bought got humbled on the humbler and reading about other people having the same issues it would have to be a long time with a lot of good reviews before I took the plunge on Kahles again.
Re: Wheel Gun: Feeling the need for a .44 Mag
Over the years I've had a few 629s and unfortunately they always seemed to shoot loose with 300+ gr bullets. Eventually I thought about using the internet to see if like-minded people had the same problem and it turned out to be so.
These days...
Re: 1911 Mags, what do you like?
When I was new to 1911s a decade ago everyone said WIlson 47Ds were the best.
After years of malfunctions and abandoning the platform I revisited it later with new guns and Tripp mags after reading about WIlson's weak magazine springs, short body (for an...

Re: Talk to me about scope covers
If you don't want to wear the finish on your scope ever, then just turn the rifle/scope into a safe queen. If you plan on using it wear will happen.
Re: Dan Wesson, opinions wanted
Can't wait for the black Specialist to become widely available, I have the black Valor and love it. IMO it is more comparable with guns that cost twice as much and not the ones anywhere near its price range.
Re: magwell?
I have the WC speed chute on two of my guns and like it. IMO a few of them are way too wide (I use slim grips on both of these guns) and it was important to find one that was slimmer than the grips and the WC fit the bill.
