    Night Vision S35 users/review.

Might seem like a dumb question, which I'm sure it is. Will a S35 go on an M4 with only the riser that ships on it? If the front sight obscures the image, how much additional height is required and what would be a good riser as regards quick detach and RTZ?

Largest scope for performance and symmetry on a small frame AR.

@Flywheel If you are still looking, the Eotech Vudu 5-25X50 may be very close to what you're looking for. It's a super-short, under 12", under 30oz.s (barely) and a huge amount of vertical adjustment. Mine is on an old Genesco Armalite and it absolutely looks like it belongs there. Read the...

What pistol do you use for self-protection out in public?

Sig P230 in a Kramer IWB #2 of horse-hide construction. Both were purchased around the mid 80's. It's been the everyday carry since it's purchase. The 230 has an alloy frame, SA/DA, decocker, steel slide, and stoked with 7+1, an extra mag, in the holster, it weighs in at under one pound...

    Sig Kilo 10k ABS

I seem to be missing something here. If the 10K has onboard AB and full weather data sensing including wind speed, what advantage would there be to pairing with a kestrel or Tactix 7 Elite?

    As We Get Older!

@B y r o n, Thanks for putting up this post. As regards your own views of the inequities in your "retirement", I fully understand your quandary. The only advice I can offer is keep your head down, stay off the radar as much as you can and collect from every entity that legitimately owes you...

Got the call, "Elvis has left the building". In the appointed number of days, Elvis appeared on the front porch. @MikeRTacOps said it would be flawless and the description is entirely appropriate. The test target is .039". It remains hidden from Elvis as I don't want him to become depressed...

    Victrix Armaments Gladius

I am occasionally under the misconception that I know what's going on. This is one of those occasions. Others here, are obviously familiar with the Gladius and there have been tall claims regarding triggers, accuracy, action characteristics, etc. Apparently, the Gladius was originally...

Congratulations. I sold my complete set with indexes about five years ago. I looked forward to each issue's arrival for a lot of years. Same thing with Shooting Sportsman. I still have a bunch of hard-cover books that are full of arcane knowledge and some old old Shooting Sportsman that...

I'm short-timing on an incoming 66. I have some questions you guys may be able to help me with. I bought some FGMM .300 WM 190grSMK when it showed up about a month ago. There was a dimensional discrepancy with the .308 FGMM 165s from that run that caused people some problems in both...

Went to sell my 49-56 MSE and ended up spending more money

In, probably, 1969 a SF1Lt. dropped by our shop. I don't remember his purpose for being there but he had a cut back M2 carbine. There was a bolt brazed to the slide. My guess would be the purpose would be to reduce the cyclic rate of fire.
