    Which BCG

BF2019 will be your best bet unless a dealer runs something.

    Which BCG

BF2019 will save you 10% plus free shipping. The JP BCG will come with their high pressure bolt which is a solid choice for any 6.5 build. I have them in all my comp rifles. Be sure to run a heavy buffer as well for the 6.5. I like the JPSCS2-10H2 silent captured spring. More than anything the...

16 inch 6.5 Creedmoor: Build or Buy

You're going to have one hell of a time getting a 6.5 Creed to run with a 16" barrel, particularly suppressed. If you're going that short why not build a Grendel? The Grendel will be far easier to tune and you will have a bunch more options with less parts compatibility headache.

    PCC Options

I agree with @padom . We had a 10 stage, 25 knockdown steel target per stage match with 4 shooters all running the same suppressed 9mm. When you know what you're doing blowback AR's are damn near the most reliable guns I have had.

    Magpul PRS vs. Luth-Ar

PRS all day as well here. It's solid, easily adjustable and it balances out a long heavy barrel very well. I screwed up a batch of reloads and had to mortar a rifle quite a bit at a match. I'm now a firm believer in the PRS stock

PRS Talk What happened to gas gun series?

I think that's why a bunch of people like it. Gas gun is different enough to warrant its own division but is the most fun when you shoot the exact same thing at a match. If you're into shooting matches with a gas gun, 2020 will be a fun year :sneaky:

    PCC Options

A couple of my builds / buys. One 10.5" wearing an Omega 9k and SF light for a night match we did. That one is also my favorite to shoot. One is a 14.5" pin/weld and one is an ultralight 5"+ aluminum shroud pinned to 16". If you're going to build a blowback operated AR-9, keep the lower, bolt...

    Thinking of 6mm Creedmoor build

@alan98 building an AR-10 is not as simple as building an AR-15. Parts are far more likely to be proprietary than not and generally speaking 6 Creed will be a bit tougher to tune than a 6.5 Creed. If you want reliability AND accuracy I would strongly suggest buying a complete rifle from a...

    Valkyrie barrels?

Pick up the JP 22" barrel. They did a good bit of work early on for the Valkyrie and have it dialed in.

    Chrono Results for .22lr Ammo

I use your DOPE sheet every time I go out to verify the day before the match. It gets me within a tenth or 2 with most 40 grain round nose.

Rifle Scopes Mount Decision: SCAR 17 - KDG vs BOBRO vs ADM

Bobro makes an amazing mount. Any time I need a mount I look there first. 1 of my optics in a Bobro bounces between 3 rifles and all I need to do is turn the turrets to that rifle's offset. It's always the same and I love it.

New Winchester Staball 6.5 ball powder

I'm glad someone else is thinking this way too. I'm all on board if I can reload 6.5 on my 650 in addition to processing the brass. If StaBall pans out I'm going to add the AMP mate to my Christmas-to-Myself list and have way more time to do the shooty things next year.

    Deciding on a robust AR10

@bantaman2 based on the criteria of wanting to shoot suppressed and not, wanting the adjustable gas block to the the rifle and needing something as robust as it is accurate I'd go with the JP 308 in the Large Frame Top Charge (LTC Series) format. 308's are super easy to tune to run with or...

    Range Report 6GT Project/Range Report

I hear what you're saying but actually the opposite. Same stock, similar barrels etc. The ? ? belonged to a short, heavy lefty (Wrong-handed dwarf?) and the BRA/6 Creed were a tall lanky guy like me whose guns actually fit me. Brake certainly had a role but either way I'm sold.

    Range Report 6GT Project/Range Report

Berger 105's in all. I did not notice a difference in bolt lift between any of the cartridges despite running the GT wrong handed. I've been told I'm a blunt instrument though so take that with a grain of salt. Let me clarify my perceptions and the points raised in the above posts. My post was...

    Range Report 6GT Project/Range Report

Got a chance to shoot a friend's ? ? over the weekend and I'm sold. Shot it back to back with a 6 Creed, 6 Dasher and 6 pre-Dasher (BRA). I perceived less recoil in the GT and I was able to watch the hole appear in the paper at 100 yards. Talking to the owner, the load seems to be common among...
