    Reliable, in-expensive AR10 mags recommendations?

Magpul PMags. I love mine, they work with every round I've tried. I've heard great things about other brands but I always find myself buying Magpul stuff because it always works without any hassle. I open the box and it goes straight to doing the thing it was designed to do.

    Jp enterprises silent capture spring

My favorite upgrade to an AR. I actually think they are more reliable than a standard buffer. For a 10.5" shorty I'd go with spring JPSCS2-15H2 especially if you're thinking about suppressing it (please do).

Is an 8-inch 308 or 12-inch 6.5Cr build possible? Accurate out to 500 yards?

@LilGucci If you're wanting something to cycle forget it. You're going to waste time on a 10" or under large frame 308 / 6.5 Creed. You're far better off running a 300 BLK or a 12.5 Grendel if you want something that short to cycle. Buuuuuut... A really fun option for shooting subsonic to...

    Calling B&T GHM9 Gen2 Owners

If you want a gun you can pick up and know it will always run go with a JP GMR15. I picked up mine to do all my short range rifle practice and very quickly found out the 9mm ARs are amazing practice. They don't get nearly as hot, they suppress well, they are cheaper to feed and they just flat...

Rifle Scopes Best 300 BLK Rifle Scope Reticle

Yep, 100% agree with a standard mil over a BDC. I prefer the segmented circle mil reticle in the Trijicon. I built this 10.5" for deer and it might just be my favorite pistol...:sneaky:

    Ar-10 in 6.5CR Feeding Problem-Need Help

To echo what @padom previously said, building a Large Frame (AR-10) rifle is NOT the same as building Small Frame (AR-15) rifle. Parts are not always compatible and you need to know what you are doing. My 6.5's and 308's all function with factory ammo as well as my reloads but when folks are...

Heavier AR-10 Buffer: Would It Help?

Usually I recommend running a heavy buffer in suppressed large frame AR's. With more mass you end up with a wider window of operation and an easier time tuning the gas. Since you're already running suppressed, I'd strongly recommend the JP Silent Captured spring (JPSCS2-10H2). You eliminate the...

    Flat bottom handguard for LR-308?

You can pick up the ARCA adapter for your JP hand guard. That will give you a flat surface and ARCA compatibility. It's a pretty easy install / reversal if you find you don't want flat after all.

    Chart comparison

Rimfire is only easy because I borrowed your DOPE. I think you bring up a good point about knowing the limitations of a training program. Yes, long barrel life, inexpensive commercial precision ammo and low cost / high repetitions are advantages of the 22's. Not all fundamentals are being...

    Winter Project 6.5CM Build

An adjustable gas block and heavy silent captured spring are going to be absolute requirements for a gas gun running a TBAC can. I would go with the TBAC 7 and a 22" JP 6.5 Creed barrel. I'd assume, and I'm sure TBAC will chime in, the TBAC 7 has less back pressure than the 9. I strongly favor...

    Ar-9MM suppressed or Ar-45 Suppressed?

You're going from a ~190 grain bullet in the Blackout to a ~150 grain bullet in the 9mm. If you weren't happy before, you're going to be exceptionally unhappy now. Add in most AR-9's are straight blow back operating systems you really lose a lot of performance. To be honest I doubt you will...

    Delayed blowback advantages

Here you go. A friend of mine bought this for his son and after watching him struggle with catastrophic failures at 2 matches he decided enough was enough and picked up a JP GMR-15. No more issues and both him and his son run it at matches. Typically at least 1 person will have a gun go down and...
