    Re: Oil spray on scope I had this on my AR and fixed this by adding a lens cover that folds shut and just left it open facing down so that the lid blocked the gas jet.

    Re: Contour Advice for a Light Weight 308 For a light weight build I would personally go with a heavily fluted remington sendero contour. I have a 28" krieger contoured to a remington varmint/PSS contour and it shoots great. Balances really nicely to.

    Re: M1A vs Ar-10, am I too infatuated with the M1A? Love my M1A and wouldn't trade it for nothing. I bought it used at a gander mountain and shot it to hell. Then rebuilt it from the ground up in a sage stock and suppressed it. Absolutely pleasant to go shoot her now.

    Re: changing barrel on Fn spr a3g?? If the 308 barrel was for the rifle originally it should have a mark on the barrel and receiver. Just line them up. Then again the only way it would have this is if the smith that put the 260 barrel on took the time to mark it.
