I have recently started hunting hogs at an area close to the house where my fiancee keeps her horse. There are always coyotes howling while were out and the girl who owns the place would love for me to take some out, as she also raises cattle and breeds horses. I have never hunting yotes and...
Re: Glock 34 & Glock 17
I own both a 19 and 34. The 19 was my first Glock and I carried it for about a year until I bought the 34. It is a bit more gun to pack around but I don't have much trouble carrying it, the 19 however is much more comfortable to tote around all day.
I rarely shoot...
Re: What's In the Bag?
I have already decided on not using Lone Wolf, I'm looking at KKM, might be something you would be interested in. As for the saw all I shoot is S Texas whitetail and piggies, that would be plenty.
Re: What's In the Bag?
What is the saw that you mentioned and briefly pulled out of your front pack. Looked very compact, how does it work? Also what barrels are you using on your suppressed Glocks? I have been debating whether to use my 34 or 19 when I get my can.
Re: My solution to ticks/chiggers
Should say other than being hot in the summer and the winter. I went to the lease yesterday and was sweating all day. It's the middle of December, WTF.
Re: Thumb Safety
I was always taught to use safety as well when I was growing up. That being said, my firearms that do have a safety rarely have them engaged. Don't point them in the direction of something you don't inted to shoot and just like Moof said, keeping your finger off the trigger...
Re: Get me started! Reloading Gear. New Guy.
Pharm this is my bench. I store my crap underneath and get stuff out as I need it. It gets cluttered sometimes, but I made it before I started realoading so I didn't know exactly how much space I would need.

Re: Thieves.... forced start over
Oh, we have 2 cats and my man cave is their food and kitty litter room. Somethin for them to play with. Note the kitty cat bed under the reloading table.
Re: Thieves.... forced start over
Here's a pic of the corner of mine. I built this one, pretty simple if you have the tools.

Re: Why are shooters saying AR style 308s hard to shot
I was looking at building a .308 caliber AR at one point. From what I read, I think it's mostly people not used to a semi auto with considerable recoil. Some tend to shoot faster then they would because they don't have a bolt to cycle...
Re: My Savage 10FCP 5R
Kilo I have a savage 10 that is cut down to 18". I shoot 175 bergers. Only 2 powders I have ever used were RL-15 and Varget. I stuck with Varget. Either one should do you just fine.
Re: Need help with bottom metal for 7RM Savages
As for whether they will put the dbm in I am not sure but a quick call to mcmillan would probably clear up that question. I know places like CDI will inlet your stock for there bottom metal. As for hunting, a 5 round AICS mag does not stick...
Re: Lansky Sharpener
I guess to each his own, maybe it is not as easy for some. To the OP you could always go down to academy and pick one up, if you don't like it, take it back and tell them it doesn't work =). Then try somethin else.
