Yep, I've read them all, and I anxiously await the next one. Great stories. One of my favorite authors.

Movie Theater The Final Countdown... oldie but great movie!

Blue Thunder is a lot of fun. Some great helo flying. But if you REALLY want to see some great helo flying, find a copy of "Deadly Encounter". That's one of the very best helo movies I've ever seen. Not so much for the story line, but the helo flying is fantastic!

    Reloading fun

I find that reloading is a great way to "decompress" and just slow down a bit. I don't do huge batches at a time, and I only do it when I feel like it, so yes, I enjoy it. If I had to do it all the time, well, maybe that would be a different story. But the way I do it now, it's enjoyable.

    Do you touch your primers?

I always wear nitrile gloves when I reload. No chance of contaminating anything, keeps my hands clean, and keeps fingerprints off the brass.

Gunsmithing Good reference sites or books for building an AR 15 for the first time

I used the Zediker book when I built my first one. It's excellent, except for one major error. In the edition I have, his explanation of using a torque extender or crowfoot on your torque wrench was bassackwards. The way he explained it would increase the torque rather than correct it. I...

Movie Theater Anyone Read A Good NON-Fiction Book Lately?

Roger that! The book was a little hard to read in spots, but well worth it. Good look into the psychological toll the job takes on these guys.

Movie Theater Anyone Read A Good NON-Fiction Book Lately?

Just finished "The Longest Kill", by Craig Harrison. VERY good book. Gritty and down to earth. SoH Harrison had it rough both before, during and after his military service. This is not a "Feel good" book. It's real. Very touching. Worth the read.

    Die Labels?

I always kept the dies in the box they came in until I switched over to Hornady Lock-N-Load quick-change setup. They don't fit in the box anymore with the LNL adapters on them. So I'm looking for alternative ideas on how to store the die sets. Thanks for all the comments so far!

What’s the oldest piece of reloading equipment you regularly use?

The oldest item I still use is my beam scale. it's the first and only one I bought, going back to probably 1976 or so. The brand is "Texas". I got it as part of a starter kit that I bought. I still have the "Texas" press too, but it's not even mounted to the bench anymore. I also have an...

Something else to consider is Wayne Stinnett's "Jesse McDermitt" and "Charity Styles" series. The two are intertwined so if you start one you'll end up reading the other. I like these even more than Flynn or Taylor, although I like those as well. Check out www.waynestinnett.com.

Shooting Both Eyes Open with optics..Do You?

When I am using a zero-magnification optic, red dot, or prizm optic I shoot with both eyes open. When I am using a magnification optic, especially at higher power magnifications, I shoot with one eye open.

Movie Theater Most realistic/unrealistic action/shooter movies?

Yep, I get the "rolling eyes" all the time when I start pointing out inaccuracies. Sometimes it escalates to "Just shut up and watch the movie"!! LOL I love it when they switch from one type of aircraft to a completely different type, and then back again, in the course of a single flight...

    Backpack: laptop and PDW/CCW

I'll jump on the Vertx band wagon as well. I have a Vertx Gamut that I've carried every day for a couple of years. It is rock solid! Best "tactical" backpack I've ever had, and it doesn't look tactical at all. It carries everything I need - computer, pistol, extra mags, etc, and is also...

Rem 700 scope base suggestions please

I went with the Nightforce 20 moa base and Seekins rings. For a lot of torque applications on firearms I really like my Wheeler torque driver: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B3NW5TG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Airline Travel With Firearms - A Reference

Thanks for the info! I've often thought about taking a firearm on an airline trip, but haven't been able to bring myself to risk it. They lose my bags often enough. Would hate for them to lose my firearm! Might have to buck up and give it a try sometime. Thanks again!
