    I've enjoyed the later books as much as the earlier ones. I especially liked "G-Man". A very interesting "alternate timeline" look at the "Gangster era".

    I agree. I enjoyed the movie, but the book is much, much better. (Isn't that usually the case). The entire "Bob Lee" series of books are pretty well done. Enjoyable reading. I'm impatiently waiting for the next one!

    I honestly don't remember where I got the bench from. I've had it quite a while. Might have been Sam's. I'll have to see if I can figure it out. It's definitely heavy duty. Steel frame and heavy laminated wood top. Good stuff.

    Yep, it's good. Just finished it. The only thing that was a little off kilter was the bit about the helicopter at the end. Apparently Mr. Hunter didn't have a helicopter pilot to advise him, because what he describes just doesn't work that way. But aside from that the book is another winner...

    I just finished the second book in the "Terminal List" series - "True Believer". It's very good as well. Looking forward to more in the series.

    Great show, with great acting. I agree that the season 2 finale came off just a bit weak, but overall it's a great show. Looking forward to season 3. Beth is a total hoot!

    Well, I'm not so sure..... I did some reading on this, and I don't think anything has been set in stone yet. The way I understand it, the beginning of the new movie (to be released next year) has James Bond (still played by Daniel Craig) in retirement. Thus, he has relinquished is "007"...

    I read all the Mack Bolan books back in the day. In fact, I might still have them all! I really enjoyed them. I'd love to see a series made out of them. "I am the alpha and the omega."

    These are classic central Wisconsin phrases! The same guys who use these phrases will say this when talking about two things sitting side by side.... "Bod (meaning both) of dem der, side by each." Most of these folks, at least in central WI, were of Polish bloodlines. Lots of them around...

    Oh man, don't get me started! We've got a LOT of "irregular" word usage around these parts. For example, someone will say "borrow me a pen". Really? I'll respond with, "I won't borrow you one, but I'll lend you one". They look at me with a blank look. Worse yet, someone will pull something...

    I never even made it to the end of John Wick 1. Didn't even bother to start 2 or 3. I can't believe they made more than one!!
