I'm hoping you meant AR lower :). Yes, it will drop right in. The mag adapter is necessary to run certain kinds of 22 mags in the lower (it also makes the bolt hold open feature work for these S&W pattern mags). I'm not sure the make of the barrel. From what I read, these are "off the rack"...- ace_m82
