    Once I hear some real world velocities with 20" barrels there is a good chance I'll make an upper in 6mmARC. I think the BR family is the sweet spot for bolt guns though.

    Just so everyone knows - I don't think you can use the 10% off Zermatt actions anymore. I think they changed that sometime earlier this year as I remember seeing a disclaimer for Zermatt specific items in the fine print. As for OP - just go ahead and get one. Absolutely love mine.

    @koshkin I know was working with the first two. He might be able to give you a pretty good comparison.

    2D has no open center from what I remember. It also moves the numbers to the outside of the tree rather than right next to the vertical crosshair like the 7C now does. I think that was the only difference and was a Midway special run. Someone here might remember more.

    I've put a very light layer of CLP on my Origin action and bolt which are nitrided, have not noticed anything weird.

    I've used CLP but switched to a thin coat of Aeroshell moly grease. Very happy with how the Aeroshell works.

    I do this as well, just picked up a Razor Gen II using PayPal credit. 0% interest for 6 months. I'm lucky enough that I could have paid out of pocket no problem, but why not take advantage of making smaller payments on something I know I'll have paid off within that time frame? At least for me...

    Thanks for the info. Looks like the S&B is about 15.2" while the Razor is 14.4". Assuming I'm not running the shade I should be fine then.

    I mean more velocity is more velocity, no matter if it's a 16" or 28". You'll see more benefit with a longer tube, but you'll still see a bump with the shorter barrels. Throw in the benefit of little to no trimming again for that Lapua brass and its a no-brainer, even for only a 50-75 fps gain...

    Optics SOLD - Vortex PMR 30mm Rings (0.87")

    Scope just sold, so unloading the low (0.87") PMRs that were on it. Rings are in great shape, very small ding on a corner with exposed aluminum. Can get a better picture if interested. SOLD
