Hello fellow Minnesotan, I’ve been considering it just need to look at the reputation, for a while I think they had tracking issues.
I’ll take a look.
Traded it for the Tango6-thought it was the right move. First season in PRS style shooting. Budget is tight so only one gun and scope...
@krumfola regardless the Tango6 isn’t staying and if I were to stay save up after selling that would put me at late spring/early summer, I guess beggars can’t be choosers. Thanks for the input. Sounds like that maybe the best option for me.
Not a big fan of the Burris line?
Thought about it, but it’s still up in the air. Season doesn’t start till Aprilish cause I’m in Minnesota so there’s time. The scopes which catch my eye are:
Mark 5
XRS 2-just love bushnell lol
Razor gen 1 or 2
I’ll cut to the chase. I’ve got a Tango6 which I love aside from the turrets espically with a gloved hand. What I’m looking for is a scope that has positive clicks to be felt, reticle choices are negligible. Stick with mil/mil and 10mil turrets. New or used doesn’t matter. Had a XRSII and loved...
Do yourself a favor and buy the Bix n' Andy TacSport either two or single stage. Amazingly smooth and crisp as others have said before. You will not waste your money.
Hey man-so there’s a lot of us Minnesota shooters. Check out the link: https://m.facebook.com/?_rdr#~!/groups/676188315825681?ref=bookmarks
There’s a few places that regularly holds matches if you’re interested. Welcome to the Hide. Good group of people here.
Has anyone had the opportunity to compare both scopes side by side? I own an XRS II, got a very good deal on it, $1500 if you can believe that. I’m scratching an itch is all. I’ve looked through a 5-30 Tango6 and it was as clear if not better than the XRS II. Thanks.
I’m an XRS II owner and love it, got a heckuva deal on it. Shot a friends Tango 6 and it’s nice, you won’t go wrong, the reticle is nice. I like the center-dot in the reticle. Can’t go wrong with either one.
Brakes are great but terrible for those next to you. Shot a couple matches and they are unpleasant completely being next too. I’ll buy a suppressor before I ever shoot a break again.
That sounds to good to be true, thanks 5RWill yet I’m content with my XRS II.
Went to a local skills builder PRS match, basically a learning class but still with time limits ranging from 60-120 seconds. The whole shooting never did it feel liie I was straining to see the target. Very impressed...
