    Maggie’s What's Your View II

Last week we saw some big animals around the house. Mrs. Slo cat called me to the deck to see some bull elk, in velvet. The nearer one will be a 6x6 when his antlers mature. I could see the top knob is forming two more points on each side. His buddy will be a 5x5. Thursday my neighbor...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Scored a HK P7 ?

Here is my H&K P7M13, (Fat Albert) showing some of its modifications. First of all, I checkered the backstrap @ 30 lpi. Then serrated the rear of the slide and beveled the bottom edges of the slide and the mag well. After this was complete, I sent it off for to Robar with some mags for their...

    Shooting a bolt gun cross-handed

I was watching videos of the NRL 2019 Finals and noticed a left hand shooter shooting a right hand bolt gun. Not too unusual to see this. Then I saw another right hand shooter, but with a left hand bolt gun. Both were shooting in somewhat standard prone positions. ?? Since these guys must...

    Homemade Target Stand

Here is mine. It slips together in steel where the 2x4's meet, so it is very portable. In the background you see the small steel hung with conveyor belt, on rebar that slips together at the joints, very portable. Not home made exactly. I bought the hinge kits online.

Talk me out of a 308

Shit, I have seven .308's but don't shoot them anymore since I got my 6.5 CM. Now I don't know what to do with all the .308 loading supplies. But yea, everyone should own at least one.

Sidearms & Scatterguns I’m curious...what distance are you sighting in your RDS on your PCCs?

Zero will depend on use of the PCC. I use mine for IDPA, so maximum distance is 30 yds with most targets closer. So I zero at 25 yds, knowing I might have to hold a little high for a small, closer target.
