I was in that group that shot JC Steel with Kyle and the crew from XLR. One of my guys won the new Element off the prize table and two or three of us have since purchased the new Elements after seeing them and messing with it.
Since I switched over I am extremely happy with the fit, finish and...

I've had my P308 for about 4-5 years now, I honestly can't remember what year I bought it. I've never had any issues with the rifle other than the stock single stage trigger is way too heavy and not crisp my any stretch of the imagination. For a battle rifle the trigger would be just fine but...
I've had my new Element running a Defiance Deviant 260 for about a month now. I cannot express how happy I am to have made the switch from a Mcrees over to XLR. I believe I ditched approx 1.4-1.6 lbs & slimmed down the overall profile of the chassis/barrel/optic by about .5". Shot a match two...
PM them on SH... They seem to slammed with business but they have always responded to me and my buddies recently. Might be a couple of days but hang in there. Their chassis are worth the wait for sure!

Rocks are really nice. Before buying I would suggest you read the threads on here 'discussing' the companies responsiveness. I've got two buddies who shoot them and they are great setups to say the least.
I ordered a Mcrees; got it within two weeks. Ordered the XLR last month and it...
Give Kyle a call at XLR. Great guy to talk about the technology they engineer into the bedding surfaces and it's advantages.
As far as heat transfer goes, I haven't noticed anything alarming or different than my mcrees.

I've been running a razor HD 5-20x on my 260 match rifle for over a year now... Temp ranges have been -7 to 104 degrees; sunny, blowing dust all the way through pissing rain, snow, freezing rain. I've literally beat the crap out of this glass on barricades and even had a buddy knock my rifle...
I've got a 700 SA folder in desert tan I'll be selling. Just took it off my rifle so need to wipe it down and package it up... Pm me if you're interested.

Had the Mcrees folder for about a year and just got the XLR element. Both high quality but the XLR is noticeably lighter. Really no comparison in my opinion... I've got a mcrees for sale if anyone wants it. I'll be posting it this week after I can take some pics.

Thanks for the feedback! I had H&M do my entire 260 build (Defiance Devient, Bolt, barrel) and it turned out amazing. Most of the guys I shoot precision rifle with are all H&M customers and we have all had wonderful results with them so far. Looks like I'll be sending this DW off next week.
I am picking up a new full SS 1911 (I hate stainless but waiting a year or more for the 'black' version is not wanted) so I was hoping to see if anyone has meloinited their SS 1911 and the results...
Thanks!
Arrived yesterday! Can't wait to out it together tonight. Pics to follow shortly!
Thanks again for the amazing service Kyle!

Can't go wrong with either... I've got the LWRC as well as a P308. Both have had zero failures and run exactly as expected. Accuracy is as good as advertised for sure. The ergonomics of the LWRC are a bit sleeker but the POF is a tank. Depending on your preferred rail size/feel might...
Bought a defiance deviant last year and would do it again in a heartbeat. Four of my buddies have gotten a deviant as well and all run flawlessly. Defiance also builds GAP's actions for them so you know they are good.

I am sure you will be happy with the performance for the money. Sure there is better glass out there like a S&B or a high end leupold mark8 but for this price point the Razor is REALLY hard to beat. Shoot straight!
