    That's fine to start at mag length minus 20'thousandths or so which will allow you room to chase the lands later. Stay at mag length minus 20 and run a powder charge test. You should find something good and not wed to adjust seat depth

    The rust that happens quickly is called flash rust. Like others have said, need to put some type of lubricant on them. Wd40 with the stream/spray option works really well. You can try corrosion X (expensive stuff) depending on needs.

    It's really up to you. I'd verify over a chrono or another means to get MV but you don't HAVE to use 4350 just like you don't HAVE to use varget. as long as you get good results ; I think you can do a little better than 35 grains though
