    KAK 1n5 twist 11.5" v. 1n7 twist 11.5" , both suppressor ready, .076 GP.

FWIW... this guy has already tried one. No bullets spinning apart, and "clear Gel" tests included w/ 77gr OTMs. He beat me to the "punch".

    5.56 accuracy

Sub MOA in a AR platform, is considered danged good. In the spirit of economy I would suggest you give your current barrel a good cleaning , and try some more ammo brands. PSA AAC ammo is a bargain right now. And ADI .223 69gr SMK has always been a consistent less expensive round. As for the...

    Barrel blanks

I'm comfortable there is a difference in barrel blanks.... but , IMHO, and as you pic shows.. Attention to the additional details matters a lot.

    KAK 1n5 twist 11.5" v. 1n7 twist 11.5" , both suppressor ready, .076 GP.

KAK has both these available, and for some reason I am interested in them. I typically prefer precision oriented complete uppers, when I buy a complete upper. ( most spare uppers I own I have assembled with precision oriented barrels. ) FWIW... I don't expect a KAK 11.5" upper to be a MOA...

    KAK 17-5.56

Impressive speeds. KAK puts some fun back into the AR15 platform choices. While looking at their complete uppers... this one is also something different... 1n5 twist.. https://kakindustry.com/5-56-suppressed-only-complete-ar15-upper-11-5-barrel-fast-twist-mid-gas-9-8-mlok/

    Armalite AR10 308

Armalite makes a fine LFAR. I do worry about parts availability in the future. Since Armalite doesn't sell those spare parts on their webpage anymore... but use a 2nd party webpage with limited availability. That said, I am a spare parts nut.

    Most accurate mk12 barrel?

FWIW... For some reason, I have been on a SPR barrel kick. These are the pin gauge measured GP sizes. Centurion, Mk12, 18", 5.56, RLGS, SS, 1n7, .750" GJ...... .101" GP Criterion Fluted , 18" , .223W, RLGS, SS, 1n8, .750" GJ,.... .093 " GP PRI/ Douglas, 18", 5.56, RLGS, SS, 1n7, .750"...

    The perplexity of ar10 loads

For the OP, make sure your ejectors outside edge is free of any sharp edges. And smooth the radius edge. Not a fix, but a smoother surface on the case head.

Charging handle popping loose Updated! Post #12

You might check for "battering" at the lowers buffer tube threads.

Pics of fired brass.... both the case body and the case head. And what brand Adj. GB ? ... what gas system length ? And what buffer weight ?

    The perplexity of ar10 loads

FWIW, I run KAK 9.3oz 308 length buffers in my rifle stocked LFAR's, with a 308 Tubbs Flatwire recoil spring. SLR Adj. GB You might consider up'ing the buffer weight. And then re tuning the Adj. GB. BTW... Pics of the brass ?

    Colt-Style PCC 9mm Magazines Loading?

BTW, try one of each of the Colt styles.... ( Different followers ) DuraMag and Metalform ... some Colt pattern PCC's have different preferences. And some Brownell's are Metalforms with a fancy slick coating. If you buy "standard" Metalforms... be sure to clean the interior of the mag body...

Building a 'Semi' accurate AR-10 in 6.5 CM

I would tend to use the Aero Enhanced set. That said... I would suggest you consider a Criterion 22" 6.5CM barrel. https://criterionbarrels.com/products/large-frame-ar/6-5-creedmoor-ar-barrels/dpms-pattern-6-5-creedmoor-22-hvy-hybrid-barrel-nitride/?v=7516fd43adaa The 22" BA/ Aero 6.5CM barrel...

    Criterion barrel brass pressure signs

I would start by, Making sure the chamber and bore are thoroughly clean of any packing / shipping oils. All my Criterion barrels have come soaked in oil. Check , with your borescope, the chambers leade area. If possible post a video or pics here. And your 223 Wylde chamber should be fine...

Does Aero Precision AR308s do anything different than the others?

Typically Aero 308 uses a AR15 carbine buffer tube... and that requires a 2.5" buffer be used. IE, the longer "308" BCG needs extra room to fully compress into it. Just adding specific OAL buffer length.

    Criterion barrels - Accuracy

Not in my experience.... I did the same experiment ( as above ) with a 22" 6.5CM BA / Aero heavy barrel, and it never came close to shooting as well as my Criterion's. ( Heck my 20" PSA OEM nitrated barrel did better then my BA barrel. ) As always ... YMMV... some BA barrels can shoot, and some...

    Criterion barrels - Accuracy

What specific muzzle device are you using ? And how snug is the fit between the upper and lower ? It does matter when wielding the AR consistently for precision shooting. Plenty of clearance between the gas block and handguard ? Nothing close to the gas block, that could make contact ? No...
