    To me... none of that looks very bad.. or better said, normal'ish AR fired brass. What load are you specifically using ?

    FWIW, your photo shows a RISE Armament BCG... not a Rainer Arms one. It is possible the over pressure ammo helped produce the bolt lug battering. I wouldn't use that specific ammo anymore. I had some Fed. 120gr OTM that fully pierced primers as well ( early production lot ) And "Blanked...

    Large Frame AR's have a variety of bolt catch styles in use. It may be as simple as you have the wrong style in use.... worth checking IMHO.

    FWIW... Sadly... Armalite brand parts "seem" to be getting harder to find / buy. I can't tell for sure if this part would fit your SASS ( in particular dependent on your gas journal diameter ) ...
