Anyone able to identify these British barrels

Ron, is the Cadet L81 barrel the same as the M82 barrel? I found the specs on the M82 barrel and these match them spec for spec. Diameter at the muzzle--.905" Length--26" Muzzle is beveled 45 degrees on the edge.

Thanks, Ron. No other marks that I can see. Are these barrels highly regarded? They do not appear to have ever been mounted.

Anyone able to identify these British barrels

Haven't slugged it, but my CMP muzzle gauge is less than "0", so muzzles are very tight. Bores are sharp and shiny.

Anyone able to identify these British barrels

I won an auction lot that contain a number of barrels, including these two. They look like Parker Hale 1200 or M82 target barrels to me, but I just guessing. Anyone able to help me out?

    Remington 40 XB

I've continued to shoot in the weekly .22 match at my range. One week it is 100 yards, the next 50 yards. I use both my Remington 40X and my Winchester 52D for the 100 yard match. Lately most of the other shooters have shown up at the match sporting barrel tuners (mostly Ezell's), so, of course...

I went ahead and removed the sporter from the stock to see what was inside. Anyone familiar with the lettering inside the barrel channel?

Yep...first one is the 5200, then two pics of my Winchester 52D. I'm still looking for a pic of my 513T

    H&R M12

The pictures I posted are both of the Winchester model 52D. I don't have a pic of my 513T with the Viani rail mounted. I was going through my parts and discovered that I also have a Viani rail for my Winchester model 75, although I've never mounted it

    H&R M12

I actually have another Viani mount on my H&R 5200, which is a civilian version of the M12 in a walnut stock. Would it be easier for Howard to actually make the mount from an example in hand? Also have a Viani mount for a Remington model 513-T and a Winchester 52B

My son and I shoot old military rifles at the Sacramento Valley Shooting Center. One of the matches was called the "Folsom Special"...10 rds @ 300, 10 rounds @ 500, 10 rds @ 600 and 10 rds @ 800. We generally used "as issued" Swiss rifles...me my favorite 96/11 and he has a favorite K31. I have...

    New Springfield NRA Sporting Rifle

No, the Type T had a long 28" heavy target barrel. The NRA Sporting Rifle has a star gauge barrel with a slightly heavier profile than the regular 1903.

    New Springfield NRA Sporting Rifle

Based on the Springfield 1903 rifle. The Springfield Armory built about 5000 sporting rifles for NRA members between 1923 and 1938. These were made with a sporter stock, star gauge barrel and a Lyman 48 sight. I've confirmed with the Springfield Research Service that my new rifle is listed by...

Nice going, Flint. I love shooting the old rifles, but usually do it against other old rifles. Kudos to you and Joe for going all in against the modern stuff. Say, is that a Weaver T scope on your 40? If so, what power?
