    Tikka T3 Thread

I did that to my ctr and it helped a lot, once any bugs are worked out ctr mags are fantastic. They are so smooth compared to aics

Anybody have a tikka ctr in a eh1 that’s cut for a proof sendero? Or, less specific, anyone have a photo of a ctr barrel in a proof sendero inlet?

I haven’t had a bravo in years but from what I remember it’s the same. Make sure the recoil lug is seated and bolt it in. No quirks at all. Well, as long as you can get the factory barrel off.

After some sanding and profiling with a mini hand file and paper I’ve got the pmag functioning fully with the krg. Not quite as smooth as the mdt metal mag because the mdt does a great job of tilting the nose up, but I’m getting there and it’s quite good. Fun little project and nice to have a...

You can get ctr mags for like the same cost as good aics mags from drop shippers.

In factory trim a T3x lite will only take tikka polymer mags. That’s a limitation for some disciplines and it’s fine for others. For hunting they are a fantastic magazine, for prs they are going to kind of suck. Depends what you want to do

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

glad someone of merit is finally posting this online. Efficiency at this level is a lie. More powder and more pressure makes velocity. it’s not magic, it’s radical pressure.

After testing feeding while I got the pmag to lock in the krg it still has issues with bolt overrunning rounds. I guess the plastic feed lips are too thick and hold the cartridges too low. Fun to tinker but ordered some binderless mdt mags for real work

I have a case on the way because newborns are exhausting lol I’d rather sleep than reload

My weatherby (howa) is quite smooth but nothing like a tikka, is way more bind prone and feels kind of clunky in comparison

7mm Mag or 300 Win Mag for Hunting

7 prc will be even more popular than 300prc imo Fits in every bodies long action for a rebarrel, fits in tikkas, as much horsepower as the average person needs without the recoil of 300prc I expect it to do well.

Tikka chassis that utilizes OEM mags and will take a Proof Sendero barrel?

He says in the post he wants a switch barrel with long action and standard. Tikka bottom metal is one of the best options for that as you just swap mags for different lengths. Most aftermarket tikka chassis are short action only
