    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

Currently we run an 0.83ish, so there is more room than some but it’s kinda dependent on the external dimensions of the gas block. After a battery of testing different after market barrels i think most will be able to fit with a little freezer action, generous lubricant and persuading...

    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

There are 2 divergent paths of the ARC, we have investigated and prototyped the first and simplest route which what a lot of manufacturers have presented. I think is viable for the hobbyist, but the reality is to build a truly functional ARC platform that can handle the riggers of combative...

    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

Utilizing LAMs mount to the rails, we have seen an approximately 0.2-0.3 Mil shift in the laser between bipod/tripod/barricade positions. Near inconsequential for traditional LAM applications and WMLRF within 600-800 but potentially an issue with WMLRFs when at extreme ranges or very small...

    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

Original bolts and BGCs were OEMed through Toolcraft. While we enjoyed them we had a rash of issues with left over stainless steel tumbling media being left in places like under the extractor which began to exceed QC thresholds. Additionally there seemed to be a growing occurrence of documented...

    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

The misunderstanding here is that no two barrels (even out of the same production lot) are never same in regards to the velocity, accuracy or precision that they will produce. I know this is something that conceptually people say they know here on the hide but there is also a massive cognitive...

Need a PRS style stock for an AR15

I got to be honest, unless you’re legitimately diagnosed with something like Gigantism, then it’s more than likely that you’re doing something wrong. I’ve seen 1000’s of students over the years and I’ve never had a student, even the biggest among them not be able to get a fundamentally correct...

The factory FDE is anodized. Several people have cerakoted their black rifles but I don’t recommend it.

    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

Ok, so I poked my head into marketing/sales and it sounds like there will probably be something for Black Friday but exactly what hasn’t been nailed down. Also a recent question was asked about stand alone upper receiver dropping prices to mirroring the rifle but I don’t have anything concrete.

All LPR uppers are made on the same assembly benches, to the same standards. The standalone uppers get pulled prior testing as there are simply to many variables with components outside of our control to bother with, them being standalone sub-assemblies. 99% of the time it should be fine but we...

    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

I honestly don’t know but looking at the website it shows it listed at “$1799” which is the same price originally I think. I’ll ask someone who knows. And for those curious about stand alone uppers in FDE, yes they are coming at some point but every that is FDE is going to rifles at the moment.

Naw I don’t hand load for .223/5.56 these days as it’s just not worth the effort. Factory ammo is pretty good and my time is worth more than any theoretical savings I might gain sitting behind a reloading bench. But a 77smk sitting over 23.8 of 8208 is a classic load mimic of Mk262 though and...

    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

Thanks for reaching out, I look forward to catching the email and getting some more details. Typically anytime there is an issue we'll conduct a RMA to try and nail down exactly what's happing. While I wait, I think the best way to answer what I can is to walk through the LPR specs which I...

    ROK rifle ID?

In 2017 I spent 6 months imbedded with ROK SF/SOF task forces for the “decapitation” mission. I worked predominantly with the SF Brigades but as a sniper SME I got to spend a little time with the 707 as well. During that deployment the 707s main 50cal was the AW50 equipped with S&B of some...

6mm arc PRS gas gun division

I think your expectations are on the upper end of what is realistically possible. 1/2 MOA gas-guns are rare things, 1/2 MOA shooters are equally few and far between. What components are you working with?

If (big if here) a 6 ARC can be made to an acceptable MRBS/F then maybe within the year but it’s a tall order. A 14.5 (Proof barrel) LPR is drawn up but it’s back burner project. I suppose you could cut a 16” LPR if you’re feeling crafty. I wouldn’t go changing the bolt though.

1.) There is a 11.5/12.5 CQBR (basically a compact LPR) on the drawing board currently. Not sure which length just yet but I do have some prototype 11.5 barrels from the RDM4 project that have shown some great results. 2.) Regarding the difference in design, I’d wager it’s fairly similar from...
