Rifle Scopes New March-FX 4.5-28X52 HM WA

True, it’s a little nit-picking, but the smaller windage turret and labeling makes it even more difficult to read with my aging eyes. It’s still a solid turret, just smaller. I do like the larger, exposed, windage dial on previous models and would have preferred a similar, updated locking style...

Rifle Scopes New March-FX 4.5-28X52 HM WA

Other model? With non-capped windage in 4.5-28 and illuminated reticle? Or are you referring to the previous generation 3-24x52? And to be honest' "D28HV52WFIML - Tactical Model with Illumination module" doesn't sound like the hunter model - but rather, "tactical." "This scope was developed...

Considerations When Buying Land for LR and ELR

I've been looking for land within 2 hours of DFW and it's tough going. Lots to consider, but IMO 20 -40 acres is never going to cut it. 100 + would handle 1500 yards if the right shaped patch. (100 is a pretty narrow plot to get u out to 1500)

Rifle Scopes New March-FX 4.5-28X52 HM WA

Received the 4.5-28X52 HM today and mounted. First observations, Wow, definitely a compact, solid, attractive scope. Turrets seem solid and distinct, no complaints. Very limited looking through the glass, but looks impressive. Parallax doesn’t seem nearly as finicky as the previous 3-24...

Reloading Equipment LAST CHANCE!!! Anhydrous lanolin case lube, 8:1 ratio, last six bottles for sale, listing ends Aug.1.

That’s my cleaning recipe as well (1 tbsp dawn vs 2) but I wonder if the lube is just binding to the pins and tumbler? (Using Redding die wax it still leaves a tad on the brass)

    300 PRC update

That’s what I’m finding as well. Hopefully my smith can polish out the existing chamber and I’ll use Alex’s +.002 reamer specs on the next barrel.

    300 PRC update

Never seen one for the 300 PRC. Consensus seems to be it’s a die/reamer issue at the .200 line.

    300 PRC update

I’m having exactly the same issue. By the third firing the bolt is extremely difficult to open, and I’m not shooting an overly aggressive load - Defiance Deviant, 28” Bartlein, 76 gr RL 26 and ADG brass at 2900. Called Whidden and am told it’s an ADG brass issue but they’ll custom size a...

Says here Woolite breaks down lanolin in a wet tumbler. Anyone try it?

Looking for ELR opportunities in DFW area

ETTS is even more limited than NETT wrt number of shooting positions available.

Looking for ELR opportunities in DFW area

They do, and they're kept freshly painted. NETT requires a membership and qualification, but you can pay a ”daily” membership fee. The elevated platform also limits the potential number of shooters. It is a friendly and well run facility.

    Clean copper fouling?

Serious question, what exactly does it tell you? Accuracy going to shit? For me, copper never seems to really build until 1000 plus rounds (once the bore shows signs of fire cracking) and once established, its a bitch to get out and keep out. Thanks

    Imported carbon fiber tripod (RT90C)

Not sure I’ll ever use the RT90C, Anvil, & Midwest combo outside my backyard sniping rats at night - but it’s a fantastic combination.

New Forster Co-Ax question - Cam over?

Thanks again for your efforts @spife7980, that all adds up. The press top definately slopes rearward, and that‘s the area where an additional .020 would be helpful. And as a final thought, hats off to @SICARIO ’s RCBS bullet puller solution .
