    I haven't tried Varget for my SAC 223 yet, but I just picked some up. I was getting really good results with VVN140, so I just kept using that. I'll have to give the Varget a try, especially since it's considerably cheaper. Thanks for sharing your load development data!

    Those are just ordinary scratches that ocure during the chambering/ejection process. What you should be looking for are clear rifling marks on the ogive which I don't see here. I think your freebore is fine.

    I haven't necked up 6 Creedmoor to 25 Creedmoor, but I have necked 243 up to 260 without issue. If it shortened the necks at all it was too little to matter. This was with Lapua brass.

    Although not a factory DTA 260 barrel, I have a 26" Spencer barrel in 8 twist that does well with 100 gr ELDMs and either IMR4350 or H4350. Velocity is just under 3100 fps with 45.5 grains of powder. Accuracy is 1/2 moa or better.

    I own both and they are probably equal in terms of quality and performance. The Hawk Hill I own happens to be on my RPR and shoots amazingly well. Just shot this group with it last weekend. Five shots at 100 yds from bipod and rear squeeze bag.

    I haven't heard of anyone doing it. It would require a redisigned magazine along the lines of what SAC did for their 223 conversion. I feel someone did make a reliable mag, I would definitely be on board for a Dasher.

    AXMC for F-Class and PRS?

    If you are planning to shoot F Open Class, meaning any caliber and machine front rest, you won't be competitive with an AI. If you shoot F/TR, meaning 308 or 223 only and front bipod only, you would have a chance. I shoot F/TR with a DTA and do pretty well.
