    Homemade Induction Annealer

The case feeder is a work in progress, I've had it going but wanted to run it off the arduino as well so it's got feedback of its position. Most of it is 3d printed currently, this is about the 5th prototype. Another week or 2 and I'll give a full rundown. The coil is 3mm copper tube, The first...

    Homemade Induction Annealer

I've got my new annealer just about sorted, I'm just waiting on a closed loop stepper to arrive for the case feeder. It really cranks the cases through! Heating is amazingly well controlled, have a look at the Tempilaq on the cases at the end of the video.

    Autotrickler V3 - CE Products?

Here's another option to the hose etc.. I mounted a Lee measure permanently. I uploaded the files to Thingyverse if you want to print it. It works really well, there was a bit of work on the funnel to get it to drop so the powder didn't bounce out of the cup but it's spot-on now. There's also a...

    Lithgow LA101 in a Bravo

Nah, I made it to suit. I'll probably change to an Arca bipod mount as well once I get the chance to make some clamps.

    Lithgow LA101 in a Bravo

The best price I've seen is AU$1175 (US$850) here for the synthetic stocked Lithgow. I'd like a Bergara when they get the left hand ones here. I might have a look at using the Bergara magazines, that's one thing that could be an improvement.

    Lithgow LA101 in a Bravo

Yep, I made a whole new backbone to suit the Lithgow. I could swap it back to a Remington 700 in 10 minutes with a couple of allen keys. I had to trim the front plastic a bit to fit the mag release but a long action forend would fix that.

    Lithgow LA101 in a Bravo

I've got a couple of rifles in Bravo stocks and thought it would be nice to have a matching 22LR. It's made it a cool little rifle. I machined a new backbone to suit and an Arca rail, it just needs a long action forend shell for a bit more clearance on the mag release lever.

    Gun related 3d printer files

This might come in handy for anyone with an autotrickler without the autothrow. It's a mount for a Lee perfect powder measure to the A&D lid. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4762745

    A&D FX-120i

Yep, it's more expensive to buy both separately. I only wanted the trickler to begin with but changed my mind and have ended up paying a bit more for both.

    A&D FX-120i

I made a mount for a cheap Lee powder measure so it drops directly into the pan on the scales. It's very quick to throw a few grains under and let it trickle up, I just need to throw it manually once it starts trickling. Saying that, I did just order the autothrow portion as well which will be nice.

    Tikka T3 Thread

Give the bolt a squirt of oil and cycle it, it'll smooth out.

    Tikka T3 Thread

I like my left hand frugal man's Sako TRG ;) I 3D printed a filler plug for the RH bolt cutout, it just pushes into the cutout in the backbone and sits down into the cutout in the plastic shell. The photo below is a first prototype, I haven't had a chance to print a final version yet but...

    Gun related 3d printer files

I've only used it twice and left it open after the first time. Next job is some solid extended feet so I can fit something under it to drain the powder without having to move it and re-level it.

    Gun related 3d printer files

Anyone with a Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper will benefit from one of these, it's a replacement powder dump tube tap with a lever to grab hold of and open and closed indicators. You just pop the original off and push this one on. I've uploaded it to Thingiverse here...

    Do I rape the A.I.?

I've done a pile of AI/Tikka stocks, I remake the whole centre section but it's not a massive job to convert the original as a one-of.

    Tikka T3 Thread

I've Cerakoted dozens of Tikkas, I've had no clearance issues coating the inside of the action as well and using microslick on the bolt, ejector pin and extractor.

    Homemade Induction Annealer

With your wiring, the blue wire is positive and black negative? Is the right hand tube on the coil touching on your new connecter, it looks really close in the photo:

3D Printing - Want to Understand

I use a cheap flat bed scanner all the time for this. I just sit the part on the bed with a steel rule next to it and scan it then scale and rotate it in CAD so it's square and the right size and draw around it. Using this method and some radius gauges or a cheap plastic contour duplicator you...

3D Printing - Want to Understand

My first printer was a Tevo Tarantula, it was cheap and nasty and a steep learning curve to get it to actually complete a full print. I've got a Flashforge Adventurer 3 now. I bought it because I had some jobs I needed to do and it was the only machine I could buy that weekend. It's a great...

    Homemade Induction Annealer

I think that 128 x 32 only comes in the .91" displays? It's surprising how easy the little screen is to read, there's not a lot of information there, just a number or a couple of words most of the time. It's a 4 wire connection.
