Varmint cartridge: 22-250 or 6.5 Creedmore?

The Creedmoor can do it all. At least I think it can.

    Most fun round to shoot...?

6.5 Creedmoor. But it isn't a LA round, so I guess it doesn't fit your criteria. I don't shoot LA cartridges.

    Whidden bushing fl dies

Excellent. Thank you. Are you using the TiN or the standard Redding bushing?

    Whidden bushing fl dies

Very cool, thanks for the reply. So if I get the Whidden set, I won't need anything else to load the Creedmoor? The reason why I ask is because I've never used bushing size dies before, and I've read that they don't size the entire length of the neck. I don't know whether you have to size the...

    Choate stock

I have one and like it. It is heavy and not as refined looking up close as a McMillan, but I guarantee you it is every bit as solid and probably much more so. And the price is right.

    Whidden bushing fl dies

Since no one ever answered your question, I'll ask you: So how do you like the Whidden dies? How would you compare them to the Redding or Forster bushing dies/comp seaters?

    6.5 Creedmoor

I thought I remember seeing that the 136L was a hundredth shorter than the 139s?

Is it worth it to "uniform" the meplat on 175 SMKs?

OP, you could always save yourself the drama and switch to the 178gr Amax! ;)

Brother, you just said a mouthful!

Why doesn't Forster make dies for 6.5 Creedmoor?

Wow, that's quite awhile to be on backorder. I wonder if the Creed is really getting that popular or if the manufacturers are just that busy?

Why doesn't Forster make dies for 6.5 Creedmoor?

The Match grade bushing dies or the Custom grade?

Most cost effective way to obtain an for sure accurate rifle.

I'll second (or is it fifth?) the Savage LRP suggestion. I recently picked up a used one in 6.5CM, and every 5 shot group I've put through it has been sub-MOA from 100-300 yards so far, with some in the 1/2 MOA range. This is with factory ammo and ME shooting it (I'm as mediocre a shooter as...

Why doesn't Forster make dies for 6.5 Creedmoor?

I was looking at the Whidden dies, but I'm not sure I want to spend nearly $200 on a set! I also just got an email back from Dee at Forster. She informed me that they do have plans to make dies for the Creed, but didn't have a timeline yet. I hope they start making them before 2014...I'll...

Savage owners with extraction ejection problems. (Sharp Shooter Supply fix)

Did this affect precision at all? When shooting FL sized or factory ammo, wouldn't the stronger ejector push the cartridge slightly cock-eyed in the chamber?

Why doesn't Forster make dies for 6.5 Creedmoor?

Out of all my centerfire rifle die sets, my Forsters are my favorites. So imagine my dismay when, after getting my first 6.5 CM rifle, I go to order some dies and discover that Forster doesn't make them in my favorite new caliber! Does anyone have the inside skinny? I sent them an email...

    6.5 Creedmoor Dies InStock anywhere?

Do you think the Whidden dies are worth the added cost over the less expensive dies (e.g. Hornady bushing die sets)?

Rifle Scopes Bushnell 3x12 ffp pros and cons????

I have the Bushnell 6-24x50 version of your scope with the G2DMR reticle. I don't think you can go wrong, especially if you are getting a good deal on it. I think my Sightron has slightly better glass than my Bushnell, but the Bushnell trumps the Sightron in every other category - turrets...
