    So a good inspection light into the chamber area will tell you if it's a rimmed or rimless case. Added: you should be able to make a .225 Win case out of a .30-30.

    I just thought of something. What you could have is a 'short chambered' .22-250 (sorry, I didn't see the comparison of cast to .22-250). Barrels sent out, rough reamed .050" short for a cartridge. You, or your gunsmith, installs the barrel and finish chambers the barrel to fit the cartridge.

    I would've thought that was an A100 as it has PT6A engines. PT6A-28 engines to be more precise. A little less horsepower than the B100 TPE-331-6-252B engines. 680 vs. 715.

    The Nimrod will be collectors price, and I have no idea where that is right now. A good scope for it's day, it certainly isn't what you could buy on the open market for a lot less. But, open market rifles of today don't have the provenance of a 6X Nimrod.
