    Im shooting the nosler 140 custom comps right now and they have a .529 g1 vs the 140 smk with its .535 And they shoot awesome out to 800 which is the furthest Ive personally got land to test them with.     Those old low bc bullets are also usually forgiving and pretty easy to make shoot good though. And it takes awhile for more bc to make up for less accuracy. Get what your rifle shoots best.

    I’d buy a used cronus for a grand, more zoom but not appreciably larger physically. Not as wide of a field of view but superior in every other way I feel.

    With bdl the action has to be cut for the rounds to sit against the aciton itself and still feed without spitting up out of the action. Stealing someone elses google pic here, I highlighted in yellow and put an arrow to the action itself being cut for that

    Rings or mount doesn’t matter. I do rings as it’s cheaper. Somewhere around .9-1.125 should work but the trend is higher, you have a cheek rest that’s adjustable to accommodate that.
