    7mm Backcountry 195gr Berger

I actually didn't realize how many dudes were into the big 7mms until I posted a (crappy) video of my ramblings on my cartridge choice. There are some really solid ,284 options out there on the table for hunters. A 7mm/195 Berger EOL at 3K FPS has 28 inches LESS drop and only 2 inches more...

Reloading Application to Document the Reloading Process

Man, I just use a piece of masking tape on the ammo box - marked with the part of the process I last completed. I am woefully lacking on my data recording. :D Since my brass prep is the same for every cartridge I load for, there are no special steps that I might miss. ***** I'd bet that if...

    7mm Backcountry 195gr Berger

Unfortunately, you lost me at RCBS. As a guy who grew up with that brand, it was sad to see their quality drop off... but I've had issues with 3 of my last 5 RCBS die sets. I have since switched to Redding and Forester. I should have done it earlier. I second your support for the 28 Nosler...

The Aimpoint Duty is pretty mid

The YouTube LARP community is strong. We're finally starting to see some of it cave in on guys who made a lot of bold claims (and dollars) ever since the GWOT started. I'm pretty sure that the "Regular Guy" above was infantry at some point, so he *may* have some experiences. He *may* have...

    CZ 750 S1M1

I believe they all were. They were never that popular about 10-15 years ago, and the last few new examples were sold at about $1,400 on Gunbroker. Originally they were in the $1,800 range IIRC - somebody please correct me if I'm mistaken here. I looked at them many years ago as a potential...

LaRue MBT is still an option at $115?

I like my triggers like DBD likes his wimmen... fat as you can get. Seriously, I own (6) Larue MBT-2S, (3) Geissele SSA-E, and (1) Geissele SSA. The SSA-E is a tad nicer feeling and feels about 20% lighter (if that is your thing). I don't think 95% of the population could tell the difference...

    7mm Backcountry 195gr Berger

Yessir. It is a steel alloy to handle the ~80K PSI. Federal has done a video where a case was reloaded (once). However, I am unsure of the aftermarket support for the cartridge as far as reloading.

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

I mean, I have days like this every year. However, angling a few t-posts between the panel and outside frame might have helped guide this young, stupid, motherf#@%ing, worthless piece of s#!t steer with 5 f#@%ing brain cells out a lot easier than chasing it around in circles. One must be...

    7mm Backcountry 195gr Berger

I wouldn't doubt it, but you are going to have to trade off charge weight (and a touch more recoil) vs pressure... so the 7BC boys probably favor the lesser charge. I wouldn't doubt if 95% of 7 Backcountry users probably stick with factory ammo for their entirety though. The 28 Nosler is a...

    R700 223 Wylde @ 1040 yards

I saw first-hand many (great) shooters holding exceptional 20-shot groups at 1,000 yards with open sights and the little 5.56. I wasn't good enough to be competitive with them, but I was good enough to get to compete with them. :D

    7mm Backcountry 195gr Berger

Sounds like somebody needs to step up to a 28 Sherman Mag. ;) Bonus to the Sherman is that you don't have to admit to the general crowd that you celebrate Pride month with a 7mm Backcountry.

    Canada lockdown

Taking the rights of citizens away to "protect" them is the antithesis of a free society. But we know that, and have watched it a thousand times in the past couple of decades. That being said, the amount of fire bugs who are deliberately setting a lot of these fires is concerning. It would be...

The single most USMC story ever told!!!

So, this "event" is only Facebook true... meaning I doubt it ever happened. There are no media outlets reporting any story that a Google search pulled up. HOWEVER, the exact same story was reported on Facebook two months ago as well. I'm not saying it isn't true, I'm just saying it doesn't...

Physical Fitness Mushroom Hunters! Will this kill me?

Those come from under cow flops from what I heard from the kids who would rather watch the walls breathe than go to work. They're all over here (both the flops and shrooms).

Solus or Origin for first custom build?

Somebody is going to show up here, running one... It's going to be like Louis Farrakhan showing up to a klan meeting.

Why don't you save up for an optic instead... If I see you running an Arken, I'm blocking you.

So the Air Force P320 incident was actually murder

Involuntary manslaughter means homey that caught the charges probably F-ed up, but on accident. Going back to my days of being 19 and carrying a loaded M9 all day at work (armory)... I can assure you that the maturity wasn't there yet. $5 says if this new story is true, that safety rule #2 was...

Solus or Origin for first custom build?

Depends on if his OF account finally takes off. So far, I think he only has two subscribers and one of those is a mod here... ***** Origins run really well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

    Groups are to small

I've been reading your posts man, and I like your approach. I was once forced to do Statistics I and II, then Quantitative Data and Analysis, and a couple other statistics-related classes for my final degree. I'll never argue against more data or inputs, but I do believe that sometimes one can...
