Texas Plinking 10 rd Group at 1K Yards Challenge Videos

You should mention to him that you have an all Arken/Outlier build. That ought to get his shill blood flowing. Then show up with your rig and play like you forgot.

    MRAD SMR barrel replacement?

How willing were they to take rifle in and swap barrels?

Texas Plinking 10 rd Group at 1K Yards Challenge Videos

Unrelated to this post. Whatever shoots best in your rifle man. I'd probably try to stick with a Berger if I could get the accuracy out if it that I was looking for. That's just based on less BC variation from bullet to bullet. Probably 215, or 200.20x is what I'd try. And I'd chase ES and...

    MRAD SMR barrel replacement?

That's precisely why I didn't take my buddy up on his offer to sell me his 300NM SMR. It is stupidly accurate, but I didn't want to have to deal with the inevitable barrel swap. I'm guessing that it would have to go back to Barrett. There is so little information out there available on this...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Home Defense Suggestions

^ Yep. But I'd go M&P in 9mm since you need a thumb safety.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Handguns...show 'em

Having done a stainless gun to a fine polish before, just use a t-shirt and go by hand man. Flitz works, and so does Mother's mag and aluminum polish. Takes time, but you can't overdo it in a hurry by hand like you can with power tools. I did the 'nickel' look (uber high polish) once on a...

    22 dasher build.

.210 would seem a little long for me, period. I hope that guys with some actual experience chime in. My only thought (that may be of help, or may not) is that your freebores are very similar to .223 cartridges. The .169 (ISSF) is pretty common among shooters who are shooting the 80-88gr...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Handguns...show 'em

I like that particular polish job. It isn't enough to try to mimic nickel, but it is enough to get the factory swirls in the finish out. Some of those stainless Smiths over the years looked like they got attacked with a Brillo pad during assembly.

    What's the best weed killer?

41% Glyphosate kills everything that isn't a bush or tree in my pastures... even the thistles that scoff at 2,4D and only halfway wither. In 4-6 weeks though new stuff will start coming up because glyphosate isn't a pre-emergent (only kills what is up). RM43 kills everything for about 4-6...

    Is N150 a throat torcher??

The generated figures that I've seen had N150 as a fairly cool-burning powder, while Varget was near the opposite (hot) end. The accuracy of that generation is something that I cannot attest to though. Length of bullet, pressure, powder charge weight, rate of fire, etc... are other factors...

Why So Many Young Americans Fall for Socialism.

I would say that it would take as many committed people on "our side" of the debate as theirs. They'd have to actually pursue being an educator or LEO etc... whatever public service job that they would be content with. ^ The immediate problem with my statement above is that the left created...

    Myanmar flaring up

On Funker530 you can see the unedited version. This one has a lot of cuts in it where people were finished off. ***** It takes a lot of effort to be so incompetent as to neglect an AK enough to get it to continuously malfunction. I fixed a couple of them that the Iraqi Police managed to let...

Random copper 1/2-4/3 down the barrel

I'd double check that chambering job. I had a nice cut rifled barrel that copper fouled like mad just like the OP. Took it to the gunsmith who nornally does all of my barrels (not this particular one though), and we noticed with his borescope that it looked like whoever did this barrel had...

Why So Many Young Americans Fall for Socialism.

Why? Because they're frigging lazy, and they don't understand economics or government. Without going on a TLDR rant, I believe that economics and civics should be mandatory classes in high school (again).

    Is N150 a throat torcher??

Didn't see pressure there, that's just where it shoots best. By 24.8 things were opening up again. You can certainly get into pressure sooner with Starline brass vs Lapua or LC though.

    Is N150 a throat torcher??

Yep, .223 Wylde. I'm also using Starline brass. Different barrels run different speeds. ***** @Rob01 I think you were looking at the possibility of speed with the .223 Wylde and N150 a few months ago, weren't you? This may be the ticket, and I just have a slow barrel.

    Is N150 a throat torcher??

Agreed. N100 series aren't for chasing velocity. They sure do shoot well in just about everything that I've tried (N133, N135, N150, N160). I'm going to shut up now before everyone switches and my supply dries up.

    Is N150 a throat torcher??

Woah, 2,990 in your .223? Damn! My 26" Krieger is pushing the 75 ELD-M about 160 FPS slower than you on the same charge weight. Now I have to go and check my velocity results again :D . ETA, Nope, about 170 FPS slower. I'm at 1.883 CBTO / 2.425 OAL.
