Normal Headspace Expansion? - 300 WSM

300 WSM doesn't have a belt, headspaces off the shoulder. 300 Win Mag does have a belt that it headspaces off of, but that still sounds like a ton. Have you checked your fired cases inside with a paperclip to see if there is case head separation starting?

    6bra or 6 dasher

I've had good accuracy from my 6BRA fireform loads. Occasionally I do feel the resistance in closing the bolt, which isn't bad but might make me nervous in a match. That inconsistency itself is actually most concerning to me, and could be perhaps from my cheap Lee Turret press. I worry a little...

    Trimmer for .375 CT

Do the 375 and 408 CT have the same shoulder? If so, the WFT Big Boy should work with this bushing: https://www.littlecrowgunworks.com/store1/408-Cheytac-p118340668

    Where to buy Tikka Action

This may still be for sale. As someone who failed to remove a factory Tikka barrel, I'd say the bare action here is a bonus. https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/tikka-t3x-ctr-action-and-xlr-element-folding-chassis-fs.7029230/#post-8864121

    6bra or 6 dasher

See my reply above. The longer neck on BR and BRA gives a large window for seating depth to tune and chase lands while still having a good amount of the bearing surface in the neck.

    6bra or 6 dasher

BRA. Fireforming is super simple and benchrest guys think it produces more consistent brass than Dasher fireforming. Longer neck gives more flexibility for seating depth. I'm getting a really accurate node at 2920 fps with 105's from 31.5 gr Varget in a 26". That can be slightly beat by Dasher...

    Official MDT 6BR Magazine Thread

I've been using my MDT BR mags for 6 BRA with a Tikka and it's been great. The 12th round is tough to get in but it works.

    If that's $55 shipped I'll take it.

Best d.i.y. option for brass annealing.

That would work, I've seen similar setups. I'll just add the advantage to this over a drill and/or socket method is consistency. With the skip design or similar, the rotor speed sets the anneal time, and torch holder basically sets the heat applied. I use tempilaq to make sure it's adequate to...

    Tikka TAC A1 Chassis

I liked the Tac A1 chassis and mags when I used a friend's. I went with an AICS pattern chassis for my Tikka because I'm running a BR variant and wanted extended mags. The lack of BR kits and mag extensions is the only bummer about the CTR mags, but might be irrelevant based on how you use it.

    Tikka TAC A1 Chassis

It's not a barrel nut, just looks like one. Doesn't actually contact the barrel (just chassis to handguard), no modification needed. https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/tikka-tac-a1-has-anyone-removed-one-from-chassis.6532455/ I've seen them go for around $600 a while back, but search...

    straight walled cartridge options?

Go 350 Legend or 450 Bushmaster. Factory ammo and guns available for both, and they're more than adequate inside 200.

Was looking for sage advice but I wound up here... Looking for new rifle for my nephew

Without searching too hard, you could get this barreled action with a trigger and brake plus a Bravo for well under $2k, plus then you have a switchlug https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/wts-wtt-relist-curtis-axiom-w-switchlug-and-6-5-cm-hawkhill-barrel.7004153/

Bighorn Origin - $900 Prefit 6.5 CM Heavy Palma 26" - $500 KRG Bravo - $350 Trigger Tech Diamond - $250 Total $2000 Still missing a brake but you could get a JM for like $30. But honestly the best bet is to buy used in the PX here.

    DIY sticky shooting bags

Stretch thread might work, but could also allow the whole seam to stretch open, you would have to try it. The heavy duty sewing machine needle I used is advertised as a denim needle.

    DIY sticky shooting bags

I've been really liking the looks of the sticky pint sized GC and pump pillow but would rather put the funds towards guns. So I decided to try to make my own. I bought some 1000d cordura (Amazon), some Toughtek non slip fabric (Etsy, surprisingly, was...

    DIY sticky shooting bags

It's nothing special, a Brother brand a few years old my wife got for ~$100 on Craigslist. I got some heavier needles for it (I forget the kind but I'll post when I get home). I was also a little nervous about people saying you needed some beast of a sewing machine for 1000D but that's been...

    6mm BRA

The standard no turn seems to be a Wheeler #1 with a 0.272 neck. If you call JGS they'll have that. https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/6mm-bra-info.6913947/post-7375330

Gunsmithing Barrel Vise and Action Wrench

Agreed, not ideal to use that combination of vise and bushings. But I got a ton of torque out of it anyway, almost cracked my (cheap) work bench.
