Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

OK, looks like a remote power solution is doable, I've got the cap and battery replacement worked out, waiting on a few parts to complete the first test unit. What's the consensus on a cable length? A 90 degree Lemo plug will come out of the cap, there's a small power regulator on the cable...

Rifle Scopes New gun, new scope, new to distance shooting

This is about the worst possible choice to begin shooting long range. Even match ammo in n M82 is a 2 MO proposition. Few ranges will permit shooting 50's and fewer still permit API ,APIT and tracer. Sell all the ammo to some machine gunner, buy a .308, 6.5CM or similar bolt action and start...

    Coriolis Effect?

Anyone that actually thinks the Earth is flat is a oxygen thief, who's opinion on any subject may be dismissed out of hand.

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

Well, just for those intrigued by the thought of the power splitter for the Clip-IR XLR, the connector cable cost from Fischer is $250 each, minimum order with them is $100, so I need four people who would actually want to pay about $500 for such a cable. PM if there's interest, we'll pursue...

Night Vision COTI USB Power adapters, Gen II

Yes, the bracket is identical and I can make a 1531/COTI adapter. The USB pack supplies more than enough power, I run my DTNVS/E-COTI for 10+ hours with no issues. I'm waiting on some Fischer plugs for the 1531/31A, won't be here till after the 1st of Jan though.

Night Vision COTI USB Power adapters, Gen II

The TAD i(Thermal Acquisition Device) s the new civilian version of the E-COTI, the HUD features have been removed to get the price down. TNVC is the exclusive supplier right now, delivery should be happening later this month last I heard. The TACS-M is a special order item, the battery cap is...

Night Vision COTI USB Power adapters, Gen II

Now that the TAD is coming out I expect more people will find these necessary. I'm also waiting on one of the new BAT packs from Nocturn and I'll make a splitter for the COTI/NVG combo to run off the pack.

Night Vision COTI USB Power adapters, Gen II

Batch of Gen II adapters on the bench for testing. These will ship next week, available exclusively at Strictly Offensive Kit. The Gen II units use Lemo connectors and are compatible with standard ANVIS type battery packs as well as USB batteries with the regulated cable. These work with the...

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

Now that I look at it again, I'm not sure who makes this connector. Might have to try finding someone at EoTech that will give out tech info.

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

I have one of those, it should have come with the USB cable, so a two port battery would cover you. If I can ID the Fischer connector model, I could make a Y cable for it. I've considered making a Y already that would connect both the power and remote control cable, so one more reason to work...

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

Roger that. I don't think it will take too long to work out. I had one here for a bit looking at the lens cover/ard, but Tyler at MK has that already covered, and we did not give all that much thought to the power issue.

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

The COTI adapters will be at SOK next week. The caps and cables are done, just waiting on connectors for the Lemo end of the cable. I could also make the Vortex adapters with a splitter to go to a thermal as well, powering both of a single USB post battery.

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

Ship it to me here at Gunsite with my name on it. Cory Trapp c/o Gunsite Academy, Inc. 2900 West Gunsite Road Paulden, AZ 86334 My thought is to use a 90 degree Lemo connector to the battery compartment, as I have them on hand for the new COTI adapters. Reasonably weather proof and fits a...

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

If someone has one they can loan me for a few weeks, I can make an external power adapter for a USB battery. Free one for the person loaning out the device.

    LPVO at distance

I'd also show a 1 MOA target actual size, but you need a 72" monitor to fit it.

    2.5 miles in Ukraine?

Eduardo knows the guy apparently, he's a good shot, been in the game a while. Bartlein delivered barrels. We know it's possible to tune a computer to deliver good data at such ranges. Now, can you do that deliberately on demand? Oh hell no. The bullet does need to land somewhere, and this...

SOLD WTS: RNVG housing kits, FDE

I've got 2 RNVG housings in FDE, slightly used, but excellent condition. $1200 each. The objective stop ring, eyepiece lock ring, tube retainers and fiber optic are included. You'll need lenses and tubes (10160 type). If desired, I can provide parts and/or assembly service to complete these...

    Opening lab radar up?

A little epoxy on the studs fixes it nicely. Replace the USB with a DC plug and you are set.
