And, Gilbert's Guns is a nice store on Louisville Rd. in Frankfort, along with Mike's Guns in Frankfort. All good...

    Remington 40XB KS Varmint Special

    Plenty of Unertl external adjustment scopes on eBay, Gunbroker, and various forums. Shouldn't be hard to find what you are looking for magnification wise. I do love the look of the old time Unertl's, but a modern internal adjustment scope if hard to beat for actual long range use.

    We were told that it was because those states that ran criminal history checks every month to insure that CC holders did not have a disqualifying arrest or event. Sounds legit............;).

    KRG Bravo Finger Bite

    Had a similar issue on a McMillan - I filled the spot with Play-Do and ran a narrow strip of moleskin over it. That way if I need to remove the stock and access the screw I can just peel the moleskin and dig the Play-do out. As always, YMMV. Good luck. (y)
