What's it worth/ what should ask for it?

Re: What's it worth/ what should ask for it? Any time I go to sell a gun I usually get 70% of purchase price. This seems to be normal in my area. Hope that gives you a start. Look and see if there is anything to compair to in the for sale section. And pay attention to how long it takes to...

Any Experience with this Choate stock?

Re: Any Experience with this Choate stock? Don't know what you are using the gun for but if you planing on carrying it pay attention to the weight. Choate stocks tend to be heavy. I know several that have them that do like them but that is the common complaint.

Re: Need help choosing a caliber for a new rifle Ok I am still learning to read the wind so I like the extra mass. My friend that shoots the lapua is using the 120ish bullets. The thing is very accurate and if I didn't plan on using the 260 to hunt with I would probably gone that way. The...

    New Tactical/Hunter Build

Re: New Tactical/Hunter Build The brake will depend on what you can handle. I have a Rem XCR that the local smith put a Mercury recoil reducer on that really helped. My point with this is I didn't notice a problem until shooting 75- 100 rounds prone at the range. Until then the recoil...

Need help choosing a caliber for a new rifle

Re: Need help choosing a caliber for a new rifle I've looked at the 6.5's too the 260 is my pick. Not sure about the creedmore but the 260 will push the 142's better down range vs the 6.5x47. And Lapua is making 260 brass now. The 6.5's have a high BC. If the 6's are light and fast the...
