    Hunting & Fishing .270 Bolt Action Hunting Rifle...need help!

    Tikka t3 lite in stainless. We bought my brother one this year and it is much nicer than my 4 year old Remington 700 stainless. I had issues with my Remington right out of the box. Had to go back to Remington twice for chamber inc issues.

    Budget binoculars, Nikon Monarch 5. 8x42 vs Bushnell Ultra Legend HD 8x42, any experiences

    I am currently in the market for a set of binoculars to mainly be used for hunting. Most of the places I hunt the longest view is less than 500 yards. I have a budget of about $300 for new set and have seen good reviews on both of these. Any observations of these two? Thanks, BJ

    Re: best battle knife? If you want a custom blade that won't cost you a fortune check out Ken Brock knives. He website is brockblades.net. He makes a solid knife, is a LEO, and knows his stuff. On top of that he is a nice guy.

    Re: Is the Hawk Sidewinder 30 Tactical My Best Option If you want to stay under $600 and don't mind SFP give the Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x44 a look. Scott at Liberty Optics can get you into one for under $600 and it would be plenty good out to 1000 yards.

    Re: Tips on hog hunting ( new at this ) 5R, wher you located at in SC? I'm in the upstate but hunt in the low country some, mainly in Orangeburg County. We had a few issues with hogs on our hunting property this year, really worried for next season.

    I am currently looking for an ankle holster to carry. I usually carry my j frame IWB with a Bianchi but need something I can wear win dress pants and I haven't found an IWB tuck able that I like. I would like something that rides high and has a second strap at top. Any suggestions? Thanks
