    I agree, it would be nice to have shorter options in calibers aside from 308. I understand the immense SKU database they'd have to have in order to serve all makes in that manner but at least one shorty option would be nice.

    I never owned an AT-X, my prior AI's were AT's and AX's but I have a lot of time on a buddies AT-X and it's definitely an improvement. I don't think it's markedly better but it's better, maybe 20-30% lighter?!

    I really only have that barrel should I want to throw a clip-on on there for coyotes. I might pop the 6.5 Creedmoor off here in a few hundred rounds and shoot the 6 for a while, we shall see.

    You just reiterated what I said about the Proof barrels being great with the 103+ heavy projectiles. You didn't show them being equally as accurate with lighter projectiles so I am failing to see how your experience is any different than mine?

    I have multiple D. Wilson LMT conversions, all of which are Proof CF barrels and every single one shoots amazing. I’ve had him chop a couple of factory barrels as well and I noticed no accuracy degradation. Best in the biz for this service, full stop.

    You could put some opaque tape/vinyl over the lens to diffuse it further. That's what I plan to do with mine should it still be brighter than I care for after adjusting it. I just hope that it'll work on the AT-XC where I'd like to mount it.
