I'm not going to argue with someone who's refusing to see the facts and the core point. You do you bruh.?

Training Courses Modern Day Sniper Precision Rifle Courses

I'd love to hold training classes here during those months too, but the weather is too unpredictable to do so. I've tried to run December and January classes in the past and gotten seiously hosed with weather. We can get some powerful inversions here in eastern WA that will keep things locked...

PRS Talk Safety on the trigger a requirement?

Slam fires occurred as a result of poorly built Remington triggers, AND improper maintenance practices regarding the trigger itself. Show me a bolt action rifle with a trigger mechanism that hasn't been fucked with by the user who has no business fucking with it have a slam fire in the last...

PRS Talk Safety on the trigger a requirement?

False, it's got nothing to do with 2 position or 3 position safeties. In fact, a 3 position safety is in place to prevent the bolt from lifting, keeping the operating system free of debris when operating in environments other than a groomed firing line. It's not uncommon for people to move with...

PRS Talk Safety on the trigger a requirement?

I get all that, but my question still remains unanswered. When did it become commonplace to not utilize a mechanical safety on a bolt action rifle, and what's the difference between an auto-loading rifle and a bolt-action rifle with regard to one weapon's mechanical safety being adequate...

PRS Talk Safety on the trigger a requirement?

Wow, I'm glad to actually see this discussed on a forum. I mean, a mechanical safety, what a novel idea, right? When did a mechanical safety on a bolt action rifle become optional equipment? Asking for a friend.... Tell me, what's the difference between an auto-loading rifle shooter needing...

PRS Talk 6.5 PRC in PRS/Hunting

26”, Gunwerks brass. I went with RL 23 after being educated on its temperature stability. I use it in both my PRC and 7 SAUM cartridges. Brass has been doing really well. Even with that combo and Hornady virgin brass that I was originally using it’s gotten great results.

PRS Talk 6.5 PRC in PRS/Hunting

All these comments here about the PRC not being good for competition use is nonsense. If you’re not afraid of a little bit of felt recoil and you can actually shoot a rifle the way it was intended to be shot (with your shoulder) the PRC is an awesome cartridge for it. If you’re gonna be...

    PRS Talk What a bummer.

Not everyone does this to have fun. If that were the case then there wouldn't be this much garbage floating around. Ego and money fuel these fires.

Hunting & Fishing Backpack for hunting/packing meat

I know this thread is pretty old but I stumbled on it and I figured I’d comment considering that backcountry backpack hunting is my forte. When I started hunting the mountains up here in the PNW all we had available to us was commercially available backpacks like Gregory. We decided to go with...
