    Best Ballistics App 2025

I'm also still using Strelok Pro. For the most part its good enough for what I need. The one thing I don't like is I wish it had an edit mode that you did all your adjsutments in, then locked it. That way there would be less screens to go through when selecting a rifle and load, and less...

    T1x ACE in Hand - Review - Pictures - Info - Thoughts

I've put around 1400 rounds through the rifle and shot my first match with it now. Haven't had a huge amount of time to shoot since buying the rifle but it'll get used more and more from now on. First match didn't go well, which I think was mostly due to my ammo (Eley Club which seems to vary...

I hope so even 300yards is too far IMO. IIRC even IPRF is limiting 22lr to around 250 yards/meters.

    Precision Rifle Gear Bipods?

It's astounding that Harris doesn't offer a tricked out model. Many many ople are happy to pay full price for a Harris then buy 3 or more additional items to trick it out, surely they could just offer those additional items as standard.

    Precision Rifle Gear Bipods?

I finally bought a ARCA adapter for my Harris. I gotta say the Harris (with an ungodly amount of mods admittedly) + Ckyepod (style) is a very good combo.

Why modify the turret to be non locking

Left as in windage turret spun? I've had turrets spin multiple times at a match and in training, every time it was windage. I 100% agree windage should be locking if not capped, but elevation I prefer non-locking.

Why modify the turret to be non locking

It's relatively easy to accidentally push down on the turret when you are making adjustments with many scopes. Although the first Gen 3 Razors were a very public example of the problem, it's not just these models than it can happen to. For the most part guys never need a locking turret on a...

Here’s what you really need to know about wind at a match

The trouble is in swirling winds you often have no idea which direction it's coming from, so your .5mil could be in the wrong direction and be a guaranteed miss. It depends on target size too. If shooting further away targets that are say 1-2mils wide, then holding .5 mil isn't going to hurt as...

Here’s what you really need to know about wind at a match

It depends on the terrain. If it's flat open terrain, then yes the same basic idea holds true. In 22PRS you can easily have 3 targets in one stage (say 40m, 120m and 180m) and they all have completely different wind holds. Where as centrefire I've always found the wind to be more or less the...

Rifle lose 1-2lb without major changes?

How much does the bare stock weigh? Barrel and optic are the obvious places to save weight, if you don’t want to touch those then you going to need to start shedding all the little accessories but even then I don’t see how you’ll make weight once a bipod is added.

    300 yard consistency

I hate reloading centrefire, I want to develop a load and get some distance testing done is less than 100 rounds (1 box of projectiles), any more than that I'll find an easier to tune bullet. Rimfire ammo testing is in the same category for me, but even worse. I would never do centerfire load...

    300 yard consistency

I think most people would agree there is discussion and testing to be done around tuners for reducing group size. The issue all comes with the ignoring of ES, as ultimately this is what determines your accuracy at distance. Almost every groups you will see is wider than it is tall (if no wind...
