    223 is perfect for those distances. I went the cheaper route with the Ultimatum U300 action if you can still get them, a fat 18” 1:7.5 barrel in a cutdown bedded ACC. 77OTMs @ 2750. My favourite rifle!

    Will have no dramas and lots of fun with that shooting out to 800. My favourite load is 175 Berger OTM with 44.8g Varget @ 2590fps. The heavies do better than 155s, you don’t gain much velocity, but both will work. Cheers.

    Hey mate, so do AW mags work as well as AX mags in the AT-X? I have a couple extra AX mags for the rifle when it arrives….but over here in Oz we wait a while for things and AX mags are out of stock but there are some AI AW mags still available. Cheers

    The grip surprised me how much it fits like a glove. I have T4a and have had T2a, T6a. Initially stayed away from T5a but now I have one I wish they all were that model. Width of grip not too small or too large….just feels right for me and I have big hands.

    Sorry mate Lapua brass but have shot same load in Hornady brass. BR4s. CBTO 2.195” 20/1000 off, but also shoot great at 2.80”. Rifle is built on Ultimatum action. Cheers

    Yep thats load i used to use 42.5gr. Can’t remember speed….maybe 2880ish. My 41.8gr load for 140ELDM is 2850fps out of 26” barrel.
