    Concentricity Gauge how important?

it's interesting and as with so many things, experience and objective data rule the day. likely i'm not understanding the relationships well. i was under the impression that the bore dimension was slightly tighter than the projectile. Given the bore concentricity is not a factor that the...

Just picked up some pretty darn decent yet inexpensive tires, Milestar MS932 XP+

Was reading the Goodyear post recently and it reminded me i needed some new tires on our 2008 sedan. We rarely drive the car but i still wanted to be safe. We live in a very mild somewhat arid climate region, we never see snow and get very little rain. I checked Costco Tire first and they had...

AI Vs. everything else for a new rifle.

may i ask, (never having had the opportunity to try an AI) what specifically makes the AI stock/platform less than optimal for PRS? when i try to visually compare it to the ACC and MPA type of stocks it looks like the AI has a more angled section just in front of the mag well and perhaps the...

    Ballistics AE app question

the nice thing is once you made such a grid you can then go and test how well your scope tracks .....for example, rotate the turret a defined number of clicks and see if that correlates to the number of expected MOA on your grid....you can check elevation, declination, right and left etc. that...

    Ballistics AE app question

ok, so we know that 1 inch (or more accurately 1.047 inch) equals 1 MOA at 100 yards and we know that each click of your elevation turret is 1/4 MOA or 1/4 inch at 100 yards per the manufacturer and designer of the reticle. While often the manual affords you this info, sometimes the individual...

    Ballistics AE app question

i believe your reticle is based on a 100 yard zero

    Ballistics AE app question

i believe that this is correct. In the manual or printed on the scope their should be an assigned value for each click of the reticle(....or you could measure it yourself by drawing out a measured grid on a target). stabilize/fix the rifle. look through the scope at a fixed point on a target...
