    About a 200lb boar. 6.5cm at 100m. Really liking these 100 ELD VTs. Purposely shot behind shoulder instead of standard neck shot and he dropped in his tracks. No exit wound.

    Productive couple of nights. Should be able to clean up the last stragglers of a sounder tonight to make the landowner happy. Pigs taken with 6.5cm shooting 100 ELD VTs at around 100m. Raccoon with mk262 out of MCX Virtus at 50m. All with IR Laser and DT NVGs.

    6.5 CM, 100 ELD VT at 60-ish meters on pigs. Big sow close to 400lbs, longer than hitch extension. Willl go drag off with tractor tomorrow, too fuckkng heavy to load myself tonight. Raccoon was 50m with 11.5 MCX Virtus shooting mk262, entry near shoulder/neck and exit hip/ass.

    SBR/pistol barrel length???

    If I could only have one rifle, it would be my 11.5 SBR MCX Virtus. Surefire Mini suppressor on it, a little gassy and loud but perfect maneuverability. Have bounced between different optics but a 1-6 LPVO makes consistent hits out to 600m with mk262 (once get a decent wind call).

    Hill People Gear makes great chest carriers. What I use to carry pistol up front when hiking and want to be more discreet about it. Very good suspension system.

    Decided on the LRP S3 4-25. Reticle looks best to me for what I do. If doesn’t work out I’ll throw it on my daughter’s 22lr for steel out to 300m, and start saving up for a ZCO 527.

    Pack for playing in the mountains.

    I run a Kifaru tactical frame with their 22 mag pack on it and love it. Just the right size for day hunting in mountains for elk for me. Can put larger pack on instead if needed. If need to haul out quarters the frame can handle it no problem.

    Cheapest setup I’ve found for shots out to 300m with PID is a SIMRAD KN203 with Luna ELIR. If 40% or greater illum you won’t need the illuminator, but nice to have just in case. But.
