As far as Chargemasters go, I am and have been really liking mine, but I will never trust most digital scales without a good beam scale to cross reference with. And get some check weights, for some reason they make life a little easier...- Mad_Charlie

There are numerous threads about the driftiness and slow to respond to trickling and not weighing the same thing with the same value twice in a row... Mine just about drove me shit silly (which could account for a lot of things) and it got sent back! If you buy one, I truly wish you the best...- Mad_Charlie

Bolt won't close on reloads .308
Just out of curiosity, how many thousands of loads did it take to wear out that die?? I've got 40 years in one of my RCBS dies and it does just as good or better than the day I put it into service.- Mad_Charlie

They probably have bubbles in the cores if the profiles are otherwise exact, I can't see .005 giving up 7gr. Maybe some 68s got mixed up with the 75's in the packing frenzy.- Mad_Charlie

Primer pocket cleaning
I uniform the pockets because I don't want any high primers,especially in my gas guns. I mount the cutter in a collet in my lathe and run it fairly slow, doesn't take long to do up a batch. After that the pockets are on their own, but yeah, I do like getting the "crustys" out of the pockets...- Mad_Charlie

Forster co-ax tips?
I use Vactra #4 (way oil) to lube the press, and a 1/4" paint brush to paint the oil on the sliding rods. Clean and oil the press before each use. (goes for any piece of equipment for that matter) Doesn't need any "mods".- Mad_Charlie

Different sets of dies for different rifles?
I have three .308 fl size dies, you guessed it, they are set up for three different rifles. I also have the Redding shell holder set, sometimes different breeds of brass need different bump.
