    @wigwamitus you are correct. This is a very old listing that B&H just don't want to remove. Nobody has our old magnifiers in stock. 98% of them were sold to different agencies and there should not be too many of them (any?) floating around on eBay, etc.

    OLED 640 B&W display No laser We'll report weight for the final production versions. Remote power - yes, USB. USB-C connector. Bridging two - yes but with a caveat. The weapon mount will have to be removed from one of the units and dovetail reinstalled in its place.

    I suggest keeping CR123s in even when using an external battery pack. In case of poor cable connection or something else going wrong with the external pack, the Halo will roll right back to internals. Internal batteries are not drained when there is a USB power source so they will last forever...

    High voltage and startup surge are always a consideration but in the case of Halo-LR and rechargeable battery compatibility, it has more to do with mechanical details. Halo's electronics is designed to work with rechargeables. Some/many rechargeable batteries do not have positive contacts...

    @PlinkIt, a section of the Picatinny rail is no go because it adds a bit of bulk/weight. Somebody may be able to come up with a way to attach a laser to the Wilcox adapter or somewhere else. There should be options. Magnifier should not be a problem.

    We _maybe_ thinking about something around 12/14 oz including battery with/without weapon mount. OK for shoe, no for HD OLED, no for laser. The message about Atlas displays is loud and clear. No reason to change the core.

    Absolutely minimal, close to nothing in practical terms. Still, as always it is recommended to remove batteries when not in use but you should not be able to notice any real "drain".
