223 reamer for 75-80gr class bullets

It’ll be a PRS tac division rifle, so I’ve got to stay under 3000fps while limited to 77gr stuff getting mag fed. I’m probably going to run a steady diet of either 77SMK’s or 75ELD-M’s since I can’t justify berger money for a 223. Longest match in my region goes out 1150 yards, which I know is...

223 reamer for 75-80gr class bullets

I’m trying to figure out what reamer specs I should be looking at for a new barrel I’m getting spun up in 223. Unfortunately I’m completely in the dark with what I want/need to get 75-80gr class bullets to work best. I know what works for my other calibers with my bullets choose. Ive heard...

    Criterion vs Preferred Barrel Blanks

It would pretty much be on a strict diet of 75+ and be feed from aics mags, maybe 69s on yotes but that would be few and far between.

    Criterion vs Preferred Barrel Blanks

I realized I never said it was going to be a 223, but it’s cool to know they offer a M118LR chamber incase I want an other 308 barrel.

    Criterion vs Preferred Barrel Blanks

I’ll have to contact James and see what he’s offering for reamers to see if he’s got something that would fit the bill.

    Criterion vs Preferred Barrel Blanks

I’m looking to get a barrel spun up for a 223 tac division build to complement my 308 and figured I’d give either Criterion or Preferred a chance since they are a lower price option to play around with. So I guess my question is which one would you go with, I know criterion has a pretty solid...

I thought they were one and the same, but I could be totally wrong. I will say it’s a pretty awesome chambering and it’s a same more people don’t use it.

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

I’ve currently got three of their barrels in rotation and never had an issue, but if I did I know Josh stands behind his company/product.

    Tangoinnos Fire4000

That dude needs to stay in his lane with shooting, but that’s a whole other story.

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

I like your style, it’s a barrel burner so why go premium as long as it’s shoots because it’s got a short life expectancy

    Tangoinnos Fire4000

They haven’t officially been released for sale yet, but there is an email list to let you know when they are available. I know the dude from T-Rex arms got to test and seemed to enjoy it.

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

So they are sorta a mixed bag of quality blanks, that’s kind of cool. You save a few bucks and get to try different brands of barrels

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

I knew they were the same group and did the barrels for Aero in regard's to the AR platform, but it slipped my mind they would also be the ones doing the work for the bolt action stuff.

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

Didn’t know BA was the supplier for them, but makes sense. I’m just a little confused since I’ve never heard of the supplying barrel blanks to smiths to spin up.
