    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

Oh well, it's only money right? Just ordered my order 1727 in a red AI ATX chassis and four more 10-round mags.

Not sure you have seen all the posts on this and other forums where people have paid VGW in full for rifles that were not delivered. IF VGW was going to stay in business and maintain a healthy reputation they would have contacted those people at the very least. They would also have noted their...

    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

I saw where someone had modified Savage magazines to fit and feed in an Anschutz by doing some creative fitting. To me I would rather spend the $$ on Anschutz magazines. When I bought Savage mags to rob parts necessary use these extensions a quick check of a couple places on the internet showed...

    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

https://www.ebay.com/itm/234936402681 I bought a couple of these. Wound up having to buy two Savage mags to rob the springs and followers. Then there is some minor fitting to the follower. Do they work? So-so at best with a full 12 rounds. If you have never owned an Anschutz then be advised...

    Ingenuity Powder System

I really like that V3 upgrade and had it been available when I bought my IP Powder Meter I would have gotten it. If I could buy a few parts and pieces, like the small platen for example, I would consider. It's my understanding the new system will incorporate a lot of this.

    Ingenuity Powder System

I have one of the last V3's that Adam shipped and, along with the IP trickler, it is a great piece of gear. There is also a Creedmoor Sports TRX925 for weighing cases and other general tasks and a spare FX120i just waiting for the IP Powder Meter System.

    Ingenuity Powder System

@Bevo is correct! All I did was ask.

    Ingenuity Powder System

I do have to clarify a bit on what he replied: "If it is next month it won't be until the end of it before I start shipping" So, it's possible the international shipping and tariff thing has him stymied now.

Seventy and presently doing chemo for the second time. This is giving me something of a goal to go for. Live long enough to see this through! ;)

    Ingenuity Powder System

Came via email reply from Paul at IP earlier this week.

    Ingenuity Powder System

Same update I just got. My order has been in since December 20, 2023 so I'll be in the first batch (hopefully). I believe this has been covered in this thread already but, to say again, Paul didn't require any deposits or (unlike Vudoo) 100% payment months (or years) in advance. He is a...

    Vudoo closed the doors…

Oh, I know! Been a while since I shot with you at ORSA IBS 600. Hope you're well. I just got off the phone with my bud at Anschutz and I gotta take him a bucket full of cash later this week. Once you go straight (pull) you won't go back. ;)

    Aero precision shipping times

As for Aero, I only tried to use bolt action components . I knew they did AR parts and pieces but, in all honesty, I couldn't get the "Stag" BS out of my mind long enough to believe Aero was anything else.

My 1727 in the GRS Hybrid is perfect for bench shooting (what I do these days) on a bipod. We shoot some matches that are small steel targets with varying distance from 50-250 yards. Slide a Accu-Tac bipod on the ARCA rail and it's a perfect steady fit for my 6'4" frame and normal neck. I shoot...

The booth rental is small change compared to travel expense, shipping for product samples and booth (and return of all that at end of the show) and the cost of paying the crews at the venue to move crates around with the forklift. I was floored the first time the venue people charged $250 to...

The Gay Tiger is tempting me from shooting straight with 6BR.

@grassassin , like so many of us, the GT will keep you until the next nice "piece of brASS" comes along.

Ah, on the Eurpean website. I wish the slightly less pricey MDT ACC was available for the 1727.

I own a 1727 GRS and absolutely love it! I've considered parting with my Vudoo for another 1727 and this Anschutz chassis interests me. I don't see that model on their website. Only the GRS and AIATX chassis offered. Can you give me a link to the rifle you mention?

    Aero precision shipping times

This is the same thing they did to me. I tried contacting them to cancel after a long wait and nothing happening but to no avail. I disputed the charge with my CC and, for over a month, they were unable to contact Aero as well. The charge was removed pending Aero contacting the CC within 90...
