What are you shooting
I have a 300WM that I have no doubt can get to a mile or more but my two (what I consider) ELR rifles are a 300 NM 35˚ Improved and a 338LM. RemX ammo testing!
Have a some buds that use the EC and I know they are good ones. My only recommendation for ATS is I can still use my can in front of it. Can the EC do that ?- shoot4fun

In these times where 22LR match ammo is scarce and expensive I would drop the coin for an ATS tuner. You can tune and still run suppressed and I've seen good results posted. I just got one myself but haven't had a chance to hit the range with it.- shoot4fun

Tungsten is not inexpensive any way you go about it. I added 1.2 pound tungsten around bar in the butt of a stock. Bought the tungsten from McMaster-Carr and the lowest grade was $150 for a 4" piece.- shoot4fun

Early ones had the problem to the point bolt was changed and, IIRC, the chamber slightly modified. Mine is a very early one and I never had the extractor issue. Seems the worst offender was Remington Golden Bullet ammo and I never used it. Used mine for NSSF Rimfire matches but it has been quiet...- shoot4fun

I haven't tried the CPR "kit" but seems like the guy is very willing to please. I would expect, judging from what I've read about other Bergara issues in general, there to be some tolerance stacking that could prevent the shroud from being "drop in".
