    Best tuner arrangement?

    My friend has a 24" 13 tw done by DI Precision with a EC V2. It tunes great. Another thing about a tuner, you can tune in your next lot of ammo, then the next one. I have done it with my B14R's. Why do you think everyone is going to tuners.

    Vudoo rebarreled with 1.2" straight

    I have EC V2 tuners on both of my B14R's. I tuned at 50yds, then took the best results and fine tuned at 200yds. What is your twist on your new barrel. A friend of mine has 24" 13 TW Muller barrel on his DI Precision Vudoo with EC V2 tuner, shoots great.

    How often do you clean your .22?

    I have changed the way I clean. I use C4 carbon cleaner on the carbon ring every 300 to 400 rounds. I do not clean the barrel.

    What 22lr ammo should I be looking at?

    I have 2 B14R steel. Top ammo for both is SK Long Range, then Eley Club, then SK Biathlon. I have Norma Tac22 and CCI SV, they do well out to 150 yds, but you see more vertical past that. Eley Contact does the best for the cheap ammo ($5.25 / box ).

    The only problem with the rimfire scopes. Will the ballistic plex fit the ammo your gun likes. If does not match the plex then you are guessing where the bullet will impact.     22 ammo testing - alternative methodology?

    I use 12" gongs and shoot groups on steel out to 400yds. I put a bullet hit on steel and shoot at the hit. I can get 4 or 5 groups, depending on how far I am shooting, before having to paint. I also have gongs down to 1". Having a dirt berms is great for misses.

    I have Vortex Strike Eagles in Burris XTR rings. I'm at the bottom with a 50 yds zero. I can dial to 500yds ( 29 mils) 400 is around 20 to 21 mils with SK Long Range.
