    I believe the 280 uses the 308 bolt face. If you can get it to work, will probably be a modded ASR 308 magazine. The better question would be what barrel are you going to use? ASR is a M30 or 1.350 shank barrel not your run of the mill 1.250 blank is going to work on this application.

    If I had to choose one, the AXMC/ASR. And I love my AW. Caliber choices are greater with a long action, especially if you have all the bolts. Only real drawback and it's a big one, is custom barrels are spendy and hard as hell to find.

    Yep. The cost is a minor inconvenience. I have read on here, elsewhere and have talked to plenty of people who are not a fan of having their name on the "NFA list".

    Pretty sure Israel or most likely the US keeps tracks of all the movements and components of making a nuke in or around Iran. From my understanding, even if they sent out the material to say NK, Russia, China ect. There is a way to find out the country of origin.

    If you want velocity, go with the Sig Hybrid brass and resize it to what ever 308 base cartridge you want and let it eat.

    Seating depth, I just use the number on the die as the number I write down on the case.

    Weller 12 for more then FP is crazy work. I just got a store pick FP for 87 bucks. Was a reward for being a Grand Reserve member. I know I'm in the minority, but Weller 12 isn't that great. Knob Creek 12 is way way better for a 12 year.
