Yeah, not much of a improvement. I'm running N570 with the 245s 2950ish out of a normal 300NM on a 26" barrel. Took a lot of different combos to get there, and had to have my freebore extended, but it's happy now. Just counting down the rounds when N570 is going to kill this barrel.- Bacarrat

300 Norma H-1000 max?
How much freebore do you have? I had the same thing happen to me too with a Proof Prefit. Didn't matter what load I ran through it, still had clickers. Had a local gunsmith recut the freebore and the pressure issues went away. I also now bump the shoulders .003 for the bolt to close easier.- Bacarrat

NF or the Vortex. Oddly enough most people prefer the S3 to the S5. I haven't had that much time behind either to say, but the eye box on the S5 was much tighter then the S3.- Bacarrat

212eldx in .308 hybrid cases?
Have only gotten the 6.5CM to work well so far. My current load so far is 44.5gr H4350 with the 140 ELDM goind about 2900 with a 24" Proof. Going to load up some RL16 for tomorrow. Historically, it should be another 100fps according to my old barrel. Been saving RL16 since it's sometimes...- Bacarrat

Primers can, but it will expose your weakest link. In my case, AI's with the large firing pin holes are already known to crater most loads, this will magnify it even more. I stopped going any higher on loads when I get a pierced primer. I have yet to get a primer leak around the edges. Now...- Bacarrat

Most of mine so far have been 24 head stamps, Sig no year is a close second. Fury and 23 is mixed in there too. Been playing around with the Hybrid brass for a better part of a couple of months. Mixed results so far. I could get the 6.5CM to shoot with very minimal load development. 308...- Bacarrat
