    25 or 50 yard zero for NRL/PRS

    I used to use 50, but after reading some of the reasoning between 25 and 50, I decided to go 25. 25 and 50 are so close most of the time in terms of elevation, so you may as well go 25 to eliminate wind factor.

    In my limited 'testing', Center-X and Midas+ shoots the same. I don't have much X-Act, and the ones I bought didn't shoot well in my rifle. I still need to make ~5 hour drive to Mesa to hit up the testing center.

    Even if 1% of 1% of the calls result in someone falling for the scam, that's all they need. This is why scammers send phishing emails, make scam calls, etc. It costs them next to nothing to launch these campaigns and they're just playing the numbers game.

    I run 28mm (~1.10") height rings with the K525i and that was no issue with 30, 40, or 60 even with the sunshade and NV bridge on the MPA BA Comp.

    I ordered my Vudoo with a 30. Tried a 60. It worked with my K525i but literally had the scope bottomed out for 25 yards. Now on a 40. I think any 700 compatible base will work, but the Vudoo bases have pins to key into the top of the action for extra support.

    I would not have bought a Holosun 507C if I hadn't broken three RMR07's in a span of a year back 2013. First one lasted about 1000 rounds / 1 month. The front glass element flew off and lost in the snow. Replacement was technically not broken by me; it was DOA, windage adjustment didn't work...

    I had a 30MOA base with my K525i initially and it was fine until I finally took it to 400 yards. It stopped around 20.7 MIL and I needed a hair more for 400. So I swapped out for a 60MOA which gets me to 500 easily without having to hold above target. But I literally have to bottom the turret...

    Are you good at 25 yards with the ZCO 5-27 (parallax)? I'm also considering getting a ZCO for my Vudoo (currently running K525i SKMR3) for the 35MIL elevation.

    I agree on the sensitivity. It doesn't need to be anywhere near max for rimfire. If anything, I found more errors when the sensitivity is too high. As as mentioned by straighshooter1, making sure the bayonet is correctly gapped to the bore using the alignment tool is also critical.

    Aperture sights on a Vudoo?

    I have a Phoenix Precision rear sight for my Across the Course match rifle (Eliseo R5 build). Not sure if that company is still around, but it's a good sight. I have a Right Sight Front Sight, which I don't think is around anymore. You would need the muzzle end turned down to accommodate the clamp.

    Before I even started running NRL22 matches, I bought the JC Steel Targets NRL22 target package for my own personal use. It's a bit of an investment for most people, but all these targets are very handy to have and they will basically last forever.

    Unless my memory is wrong, I was told one mag included with the RIMX action. How did you get a barreled action? Is this the option provided by the dealer? I was told no barreled actions from ZAI.
