[WTS] Really Right Stuff RRS SOAR BAI-AT Accuracy International Plate

I'm selling a Really Right Stuff SOAR Accuracy International Plate (BAI-AT). This is the original design which was replaced by the BAI-AT2. It is in excellent condition. Couple of finish scrapes from tripod use. This is for an AI AT or ATAICS (not AX from what I understand). $45 shipped. SOLD

    Bore sighter for the shop

How much distance do you have inside the shop? I just boresight at home by putting a small 2" shoot-n-c paster on one end of the hall and get in prone on the other end of the hall with the bolt out and eyeball it and adjust the scope accordingly.

LabRadar Owners - Come on in !

I reused an older (3+ years) Anker battery for this and it works great. I'm sure you have a bunch of rechargeable external batteries for your phones. Pretty much any of those should provide power to the Labradar so you don't have to buy another. If you have the extra tripod head, just make your...

    ATAICS (2.0) Stock play

I noticed that the stock on my ATAICS has a very slight amount of wobble/play, specifically the base of the folding stock has wobble where it mates to the actual chassis. Is this a user serviceable fix? Do I have to remove the skin of the ATAICS to get to some sort of screws? Thanks.

    Labradar tripod

I've used my DIY plate on the ground. Works fine. Granted, ground is flat. But I will use a regular tripod for bench shooting as needed since it gives me the ability to reposition the Labradar out of the way of the muzzle brake ports/gas.

Range Report Hornady 6mmCreedmoor 103 ELD-X and 108 ELD match too long

Hornady 6mm Creedmoor 108gr ELD Match ammo is also too long for my rifle. I documented it here: https://www.ocabj.net/precision-rifle-project-series-american-rifle-company-mausingfield-part-4/ https://www.ocabj.net/precision-rifle-project-series-american-rifle-company-mausingfield-part-5/ I...

    Action/ chamber fitted bore guide

I bought a PMA Tool bore guide for my 700 in 308, and have another one on the way for 6mm (Creedmoor). The Lucas guide is definitely more exact since you provide your cleaning rod diameters, but the PMA guide is respectable in its own right. They ship out in a couple days. In a world of...

Really Right Stuff Dovetail Pic Rail Clamp Video

Got my HC-Pro yesterday as well. Still waiting on another Harris S-BRM, though. Stupid FedEx Smartpost.

Really Right Stuff Dovetail Pic Rail Clamp Video

I bought the regular Harris adapter with lever clamp last week. I ordered the 'Pro' adapter for the Harris on Monday. I specifically decided to take the Picatinny rails off the bottom of my MPA to use the Arca-Swiss dovetail exclusively. I want to try both. If anything, I would run the pro...

Range Report Federal Premium 6.5 Creedmoor

Oh, I probably should have noted that in the article. But it's a 24" 1:8" Shilen.

Range Report Federal Premium 6.5 Creedmoor

Incidentally, I posted a mini-review this morning. This stuff is basically equivalent to 43.2gr H4350 with a Berger 130gr AR Hybrid in either Hornady or Lapua brass in my rifle.

Nightforce tripod issues.. anyone have one?

As far as not all lever release Arca-Swiss style clamps being compatible with various manufacturer's plates, you can either stick to one manufacturer's clamp *and* plates (e.g. RRS), you can get a lever clamp that is adjustable (e.g. Acratech), or you can just use a screw knob clamp.

Nightforce tripod issues.. anyone have one?

You have a couple of options. You could replace the clamp with an Arca Swiss clamp. RRS has many different clamps that will fit various ball stem thread pitches. This is how I converted my Manfrotto 488RC2 to Arca-Swiss several years ago. You could also just thread an Arca-Swiss clamp directly...

Hog Saddle/Manfrotto vs RRS Vyce/rifle mount

I'm using the BH-55 on Induro GIT-204 legs after I found my Manfrotto 055XPROB and 488RC2 to be insufficient for rifle usage. I have the VYCE as well as a mount adapter on my AICS. Documented here: https://www.ocabj.net/rifle-shooting...uff-equipment/ (photo heavy)...

    Photos Photobucket alternative?

Imgur is trash IMO. Pretty much the home for viral or meme photos. The only reason I used it is because it was to hotlink some images on reddit that I didn't want coming off of own website. If you actually care about your images, light up a virtual private server on Linode or Digital Ocean and...

    JBM Trajectory Card

Not understanding your question. 300 Win Mag uses a .308 caliber bullet. I went to the JBM site, scrolled through the drop down and see the Hornady 0.308 cal 180gr SST.

130 Berger Hybrids with H4350 and IMR4451 (RPR 6.5 CM PVA BARREL)

Furthermore, the 130 Nosler Accubond is 1.320" in length and is a spitzer design (long base to ogive length), and Hodgdon lists the COL in 6.5mm Creedmoor for that bullet as 2.750", which means lower cartridge capacity and explains the lower maximum. The Berger 130gr AR Hybrid is 1.295" in...
