Bergara Premiere vs high-end custom actions

We'll have to agree to disagree. I've shot and used both and while the Bergara is excellent, I just don't think I've seen any factory rifle is better than the Tikka in terms of function or accuracy. Bells and whistles? Sure, maybe some are better. Been a while since I shot the Bergara -...

    Rifle Scopes ZCO 4-20 v 5-27

20x on the top end for precision shooting while prone is not ideal. On the flip side, a 21' FOV isn't ideal either. Smart to make 2 scopes since they can't legitimately fit it all inside one.

Rifle Scopes Is this enough for my rifle?

15x isn't enough for precision shooting at 700+ yards, if I'm shooting prone at tiny targets. Positional shooting at larger targets, it's probably fine. Depends on what you want to do.

Rifle Scopes Best scope for around $1500

LRD-1T PRS-style shooting, although I shoot limited competitions. Fun long-range shooting, although I have high standards for myself and my equipment.

Rifle Scopes Are Tier 1 scopes even worth it ?

Gen 1 or 2? Gen 1 was awful. Gen 2 is decent, but the scope you're talking about it is 2.5x to 3x the price. I'm not saying they're the same...I'm saying the difference isn't 2x-3x the performance. JMHO - you're welcome to spend whatever you like. Kahles is a nice scope. So is the PST2

Rifle Scopes Minox ZP5 not holding parallax adjustment

Send it in, be prepared for 2-3 months and at least a 25% chance that the issue isn't fixed. Minox makes good scopes, but this is exactly why I'll never own one. Poor QC and long repair times for US owners.

Rifle Scopes Best scope for around $1500

I looked through one tract and felt similarly...not super impressed for the price. Sample size of one for me, but still...

Rifle Scopes Are Tier 1 scopes even worth it ?

Anything past $1000, you're paying double the price for 10% more performance. Heard Ilya say something similar once and my experience holds true to that. $1000 scopes are legit twice as good as $500 scopes. But pretty much past the SWFA/Cronus/PST2/LRHS level, you're just paying for...

Rifle Scopes Best scope for around $1500

I believe it. Mine is the only one I've seen around. I think the Stryker beats out the Cronus pretty easily (at least the one I had). I'd love to try it out against an XTR3 sometime. XTR3 seems like an awesome overall package, especially considering the $1500-$1600 price point they're at...

Rifle Scopes Best scope for around $1500

Yes, I believe the Trijicon, Stryker, and Cronus all share similar designs. They are definitely not the same scope though. I had a Cronus for a while and I can definitively say that the Stryker I have is noticeably better than the Cronus I had optically. The Delta also focuses a little easier...

Rifle Scopes Best scope for around $1500

This is the right answer. I have not looked through an XTR3, but I think that's the only real competition for the Stryker in the sub-$2k market. And I've looked at darn near everything else in the same price range - Vortex, Bushnell, SWFA, Leupold, NF, etc.

Rifle Scopes Delta Stryker HD 4.5-30x56

What are you shooting that you couldn't make out with a super clear 30x scope? 22 at long range? I can see 6.5 bullet holes at 300 on mine when mirage cooperates. I made out every edge of a bolt head on a steel target at 800 yards last time I was out. The resolution on these things is...

Rifle Scopes Precision rifle poors scope struggles.

I have a Delta Stryker (half step above the Cronus), and I agree that it doesn't give up much to the ATACR, Kahles, S&B, Razor crowd, especially not for the price difference. I don't think it gives up anything to the Razor, and very little to the others. TT is clearly a step past those and...

    Rifle Scopes Rimfire scope suggestions

Thanks. That price point, brand, and design will appeal to a lot of folks.

Any word on where it's made?

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5XI value & popularity

I bought one used a while back for around $1100. Couldn't sell it fast enough - absolutely hated it. Tons of CA, glass looked foggy like a Burris XTR II, and it was just a pain to use. I loved the SCR reticle and the turrets, but that wasn't nearly enough. The reason resale is so bad is...

Rifle Scopes Minox ZP5 turrets not aligned

I will agree to disagree with you on that. QC on Minox equipment is poor, and QC on their repairs is even poorer. OP - try some of the adjustments discussed. But I wouldn't hesitate to send it in - they're supposed to take care of these. You'll be without it for months and it may not come...

Rifle Scopes Kahles V Minox V NF

Minox customer service takes it off of any list for me. 2-3 months and maybe it gets fixed or maybe it's another 2-3 months is completely unacceptable. Out of ATACR/Kahles, I much prefer the ATACR. But neither is bad. I like both the mil-R and mil-C. SKMR2 and 3 are both good reticles too -...

Rifle Scopes Scope zeroing How many mil's

The scope isn't set to a certain point from the factory, as Rob said. Just zero it and measure to both ends of the travel from there.

Rifle Scopes Nightforce Mil-R ... Good Reticle for Beginner?

If the mil-r is significantly discounted, then I'd go with it. If it's the same price as mil-c, I'd go with that. Both are good reticles, but mil-c is better
