GEISSELE MRGG 6.5 CREED WRITE UP AND REVIEW

That's interesting the steal doesn't go into the Cam Pin slot where most of the wear occurs.

GEISSELE MRGG 6.5 CREED WRITE UP AND REVIEW

I bet that flyer in the upper left with the 140s pissed you off..lol Could you take a picture of the entire barrel so we can see the full contour, I'd also like to see cleaner pics of the Steal guide inside the upper receiver, curious to see how clean it blends into the aluminum Thanks

New Rifle from LaRue - the MRGG-S 6.5 Creedmoor

No its definitely clockwise to turn the gas down/off. If I turn mine in all the way in the BCG doesn't even move with a can on.

Geissele Mk1 MRGG 6.5 Creedmoor initial impressions

That was the first thing I noticed, the feedramps in the Tenon is damn smart further supporting the feed geometry.

    MRGG- NOW IN STOCK

I wouldn't concern myself about their Crome lined barrels not being accurate.

New Rifle from LaRue - the MRGG-S 6.5 Creedmoor

Also just so all other LaRue owners are aware I recently purchased a Brand New Old Stock PredatAR that had a out of spec handguard that was leaning to the left side. when I sent it back to Larue for warranty and repair, I was told that they're no longer able to warranty the older models like...

New Rifle from LaRue - the MRGG-S 6.5 Creedmoor

Just to clarify by me switching to the JP SCS it didn't alleviate any issues, I actually haven't had any issues to date. The JP SCS just made it cycle a bit smoother my rifle was still running 100% reliable with the original buffering system. What ammo and suppressor are you using?

New Build #4 Ridgeline RD15 / Geissele 18" SPR Cut Rifled Barrel. (03JUN25) First Range Session up.

Just those first 20rds, my wife has been battling stage 4 brain cancer for almost three years and recently has been put on Hospice so I haven't been able to hit the range lately.

    MRGG- NOW IN STOCK

The .750 Heavy HBar is what I use, its just a perfect balance of weight, rigidity and performance. The .812 is capable of taking a few more rounds before the heat starts to open up your groups but accuracy is the same as the .750

    MRGG- NOW IN STOCK

What @DeathBeforeDismount has stated above is actually quite the UNDERSTATEMENT when it comes to describing the advancements Geissele has made to the "Modern Sporting Rifles". To put it in to context the most advanced Barrel manufacturing companies along with the most revered Custom Barrels...

    MRGG- NOW IN STOCK

Thats almost identical weight to the LaRue MRGG I picked up last year, it will be a interesting comparison. I've got the Larue MRGG dialed in pretty well, and to give credit where credit is due it has performed quite well suppressed and is an honest .75 MOA Rifle with Factory Ammo.

    MRGG- NOW IN STOCK

Your question is rather vague... do you have something specific in mind? If you're referring to the Anandize color matching consistency, no that's not going to be the utmost concern on my mind. I'll do a complete and comprehensive evaluation highlighting the individual Enhancements/Parts that...

    MRGG- NOW IN STOCK

Anyone interested in me reviewing the MRGG here on the Hide??? I'll talk to Geissele and see if they'd be willing to have me review one if y'all are interested, maybe conducting a in debt review and accuracy evaluation will help some of the members here if they're on fence about making that...

People ask me why I don't like Sig.......

I know this is a Sig thread but feel that the CMMG Dissents deserve mentioning. I picked up a couple CMMG Dissents's, I know they're not "Military Cool" ...One in 9mm and another in 5.56 and have been extremely pleased with their reliability and accuracy. I did an initial Barrel break-in and...
